Do NOT buy anything from this company! I bought a scanner that does not scan and I cannot figure out why. The online help is not helpful and I was hung up on 3 times when I tried calling. The ** chat feature continuously gave me this message: "I'm sorry, I don't understand. Please rephrase your message. You can start over by typing "menu" or "agent". There is no information about how to return the item anywhere on the website and when i typed it into ** I got the above message.A total waste of time and money.Review from Steven Dennis H

I'm very disappointed with Brother. After reading the other complaints it seems as though I'm one of many. So, I had started a technical program with Geek Squad through one of the Best Buy outlet's in *********. I spoke to an agent and was recommended the ** brand. I spent more money on cartridges and was told I could keep using a discontinued model that would be compatible with windows 11 pro 64bit.Review from Aaron B

On 10/15/22 I paid $229.99 for Printer MFC-J4345DWXL from ****** as a gift for my elderly mother only to find out only year later, after warranty has expired, that the printer no longer prints legibility. I went through troubleshooting with no success. This printer is supposed to last many years hence the price up front. Now its complete garbage. There are laws against companies making products with a planned obsolescence.Review from Kameela H

If I could give negative stars I would. Customer service reps are extremely rude ( I called multiple times), no one wants to help. I had a rep tell me , " Not my problem and we're not sending you a new machine, if you cant troubleshoot then I cant help you " then hung up on me. I PAID OVER 500 BUCKS FOR MY **** PRINTER FROM BROTHER GOT IT NOT ONLY DID IT NOT HAVE ANY INK, BUT WHEN I PLUG IT UP, IT DIDNT WORK AND NOW THEY SAYING THEY AINT GONNA REPLACE IT, I BE **** THEY EITHER GONNA REPLACE IT OR ILL SEE THERE A** IN COURTReview from Gari T

My office has had nothing but problems with Brother companies printer. They will not obligate the warranty, it breaks down all the time. I had a fix it guy come look at it and he said it was defective I told Brother that they pretty much told me off and to go s**** myself and ended the chat. They are rude and we will not ever buy brother ********* ever or anything brother if they dont do right by us.Review from PETER V

The Brother web site is an absolutely useless piece of garbage!Search for your Brother printer module, like the link from the software leads you to?NO RESULTS.Try to buy printer toner? I have bought 3 brother printers in the last 2 years thinking maybe the last one was just not for me. However as it seems they all **** all 3 have had issues with the ink cartridges leaking and not being detected this has been an annoying overwhelming disaster. When I contracted brothers I was given the run around and told it was an operator error when indeed it was not.Review from Chris B

DO NOT BUY! They can (and will) deny a warranty claim by saying "unable to verify receipt". After that, they will not respond to any requests for further information nor explain what was "wrong" with the receipt. They will only parrot the phrase back at you until you run out of time or give up.Review from Scott E

INK SCAM!!!I replaced all the ink cartridges and it says they are empty. I tried everything they suggested and it does not work. I have spent hours on this with zero results. The model is an MFC-J1010DW.
