Your typical high pressure car dealer. We ended up getting a ** that I tried to walk away from several times, mainly because of price and the fact it needed tires for safe driving. It also had been in accident and needed repair on rear quarter. When we went to get tires it was discovered it needed complete brake job also. I wanted another opinion and took it to ** dealer who also said it needed complete brake service (Rotors were bad, 50% on front and 5% on rear pads). Autoamerica agreed at time of sale to take care of body damage and do inspection. Warning to every one getting car here, get your own inspection done at honest repair shop. The worthless mechanics this place takes their cars too claimed brakes on our car had 70% wear left. Brake warning light is now on.

Gary...We're sorry if you were not pleased with your service/inspection. As you were aware, we sent it to an outside shop for the used vehicle inspection and they said the brakes were fine (50% is not in need of replacement anyway). I was concerned about the 5% rear pads and called the shop and spoke with the owner. He stated that he had personally looked at those pads and confirmed that they were not in need of replacement. He also told me that since they get paid to do repairs, it would not have made sense to pass anything substandard. Again, we are sorry if you are not satisfied, but if you would bring the bad parts to us, I will take them to the shop and he has agreed to reimburse you for the parts at his cost. If you don't have the parts anymore, please supply the invoice from the ** dealer. Again, thank you for your business.

Brakes and Rotors have been replaced and we were told they were 75%. by so called mechanic. Front pads were about 50% but rotors were in serious need of replacement. The rear were as stated by tire store and Volkswagen and totally bad pads and rotors. The so called service center also did not check air filter as stated and it was packed with leaves and other debris. Pictures will be posted on Google review and others..

Gary...you have previously stated your claims on this site. The shop is asking for old parts or an invoice. Please call Scott at ******** to arrange this. Thank you.

I have the parts that were replaced but offer to pay for their cost of parts is ridiculous. Labor alone was almost $300 and parts were $300. This was far less than the $900 estimated by ********** only because I purchased parts and were put on by a shop in Omaha..

I spent another $50 in gas and took them all the parts that were replaced last month. I took them all rotors, brake pad and the invoice for labor but they have not paid a single dime towards the replacement.
