            I bought a bag of Peanut Butter Cup Flavored Peanuts online. In the search bar, I typed "vegan" and this product popped up. I saw on the front of the bag there is a white circle with the words "plant based" in it. I bought it. When I received the product, I happened to look at the ingredients and it contains nonfat dry milk & honey, both of which are not vegan. I looked at the front of the package because I knew it said "plant based" and in very light, small letters, it says "contains" above the white circle and "ingredients" below the white circle. The entire thing reading "contains plant based ingredients" but I find this VERY deceptive because first of all, the letters spelling out "contains" and "ingredients" are a lot smaller and lighter than "plant based" so it's hard to see. Secondly, MOST foods "contain plant based ingredients" (are you talking about the peanuts being plant based?????). I am very disappointed and upset at your deceptive practices. You need to take the white circle that says "plant based" OFF of your packaging. It's deceitful and ridiculous.

            Hello - We appreciate your feedback, and are truly sorry for your disappointment and upset. However, we differ with your assessment of our packaging. Peanuts are the primary ingredient and are indeed plant-based hence the claim of Contains Plant Based Ingredients. This is not deceptive but is factual. We do not claim this item is Vegan. The front of the package displays the symbols OU D indicating this item is Kosher Dairy. The back of the package clearly states this item contains milk and honey. Front and back of packaging are available for our online customers' examination prior to purchase. If there is anything else we can assist you with, please feel free to reach out to us.

            Absurd. According to your logic, a regular hamburger could be labeled the same way: "contains plant based ingredients" because the lettuce and tomato are plant based. Why even bother using the term "plant-based" for peanuts??? It certainly *is* deceptive because the lettering for the words "contains" and "ingredients" are in a smaller and thinner font so it is hard to see online unless one is examining the packaging up close. It's pathetic that you feel you need to jump onto the "plant-based" trend to make money.
