We purchased a car from this company two months ago, a 2014 Toyota Camry. It has been a horrible experience every time we have been forced to interact with Baxter Toyota. They sold us the car stating there were no issues other than the broken radio/screen, and they were going to replace the radio/screen with an after-market product. Between the time we signed the purchase agreement (and paid for the car in full with no loan) and taking it back in a week later when the radio was delivered to the Baxter Toyota service team, we noticed four separate things detrimentally wrong with the vehicle. They tried to charge us to make those fixes despite them jacking the price up on the vehicle because they claimed it was in excellent condition, which would have resulted in us owing them thousands more dollars even though we JUST bought the vehicle from them "in excellent condition," which was their reasoning for the high sale price. We went back there today to have them do an oil change, which they didn't do when the car was sold so one was already needed, and we also needed them to figure out why the front driver's door wasn't locking. They charged us $130 just to run diagnostics on the door that was broken before we drove off the lot when we bought it, we just didn't know about the issue at that time so now we were forced to cough up those funds. $130 is an insane amount of money to just run diagnostics on an issue that they should have noticed and fixed before the vehicle was sold. They were going to charge us an additional $700 to fix the lock on top of $130, and a supposed oil leak fix was going to cost another $2,500. This company is full of swindlers and people who take advantage of clients. If you want to be ripped off and given a two-month headache, then this is the place for you. Just take a look at their Google reviews. Other people are seeing how awful this place is. Toyota Baxter will cheat you out of every penny you have and nickel and dime you along the way.
