I disagree with the $5,571.50 that ******** Law is receiving for being my appointed representative in my disability case. I chose ******** Law to be my appointed representative based on a referral from a friend.
******** Law agreed to take my case.

My Paperwork was submitted by Sean ******** @ ******** Law on approximately September 28, 2018. According to Sean ********, he said It was submitted electronically while I was sitting with him. I thought it was odd that he did not review the paperwork before submitting it, but I figured he knew what he was doing. That keystroke of hitting enter was all the support ******** Law did for me.
******** Law did not take ownership of my case.
******** Law did not follow up on my case.
******** Law brushed me off when I asked about these issues.
I believe ******** Law should not be compensated $5,571.50 for what they did.

I gave Sean my paperwork that I had previously filled out online, Apparently my paperwork was not filled out correctly, some questions were not answered because they were not understood, apparently leaving questions unanswered is a no no, it appears these errors held up processing my case, I thought somebody at ******** Law would review it before sending it off, apparently this did not happen or does not happen (issue #1). At that point, Ross **** was assigned as my case manager. But apparently Ross never followed up on my case (issue #2) My case was taking longer than what Ross **** had said the average time was (3-5 months). After 3 months. I started calling Ross approx. every two weeks to see if there was anything I could do to help speed up my case. After getting frustrated with the lack of feedback, I asked Ross to share the contact info for my case worker in Lincoln, NE. Brian ******, I was then told by Brian about some discrepancies in my paperwork regarding unanswered questions. Because time was desperately important and I am struggling to pay my mortgage, I asked Brian ****** if we could do the paperwork over the phone, he said The paperwork in question had to be mailed to my appointed representative, it was then mailed to ******** Law. It was also about this time that Ross stopped returning my calls. Apparently he left the company. I then met with my new Case Manager, Joy, the day after ******** Law received my paperwork, May 13 @ 10:15,( 7 months into disability process) she helped me resolve the unanswered questions, Joy then sent it back to Lincoln & back we went to the waiting game. I was getting updates directly from Brian ****** after that, for obvious reasons.
I was then notified on June 25 that I was entitled to Disability and $5,571.50 would be paid to ******** Law
I contacted my case manager Joy about meeting with her to discuss how being on disability will affect my future finances, taxes, etc, she thought somebody would be contacting me.
By July 2nd, Nobody had contacted me, but I did receive an email requesting me to review ******** Law.
Due to the fact that I could not honestly write a favorable review, I reached out to Joy to help me resolve my concerns about customer service and the financial amount ******** Law was to receive, she referred me to manager Audrey ******, on July 2, 2019...Left a VM with Audrey. Currently playing phone tag with Audrey ******. It is now July 8th I only have until July 10th to notify Social Security of my challenge on this amount, and time is running out. I prefer to deal directly with ******** Law regarding this manner. Who wants to deal with the Government? Obviously not ******** Law. I spoke with the manager on July 8th and she said to send my concerns to the ***********************************. I sent a version of this letter to the *********************************** on July 9th, 2018 and went back to the waiting game once again. I contacted the *************************************** on October 7, 2019. On October 10, 2019 (over one year from my first contact with ******** Law), noticed $17,714.50 was deposited in my checking account which meant that ******** Law received $5,571.50 as my 'representative'. I think that ******** Law would agree with me that the two 'issues' that occurred during my case (Sean not reviewing my paperwork before submitting it and Ross not doing follow up) I feel I should not be charged the full $5,571.50 and that maybe that amount could be cut in Half. I am respectfully requesting $2,785.75 from ******** Law.
Sent version of this Letter via email to Audrey ***** on October 29, 2019.
Contacted Audrey on Nov 14th and left a voicemail requesting an update, again... did not getting a response after two weeks, This Law Firm is sad, I finally stopped in on Friday Nov 29th to speak with Audrey personally about a status update. She mentioned speaking to Sean 'repeatedly' and not getting a response. I am at a loss of what to do and mentioned I thought my next logical step was to call the ************************, I need Legal guidance. Audrey said she would have an answer within two weeks. which would be Friday, December 13th. This is getting ridiculous. For Gods sake, this is a Law Firm. This is how ******** Law treats a disabled person. Never got an answer.
