      I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST NOT WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY. Their lack of communication is the number one reason we decided to let go of them as a property management company for our home. They are simply not punctual or straightforward whatsoever. Here are some examples: 1- On multiple occasions the payment was not the correct amount. They stated it was a computer issue but they didn’t correct it until we made them aware (every time). 2- There would be times we would call the main office for questions because the PM would not respond to text and we wouldn’t hear back for days. 3- We went to visit the home during the time period we didn’t have tenants, the PM said that she couldn’t meet us there but gave us the code to the lock box. (We traveled 4,000 miles). There was a big bird nests above the front door (apparently “it has been there since the first tenant”), the doorknob was loose, some lights were burnt out , and the walls were a mess (it is flat paint but we were told it was good enough). Not decent enough to show. 4- The assistant rudely hung up the phone on my husband when he called to discuss the issues and getting the home repainted after 2 months of them not being able to find us a tenant. (The owner was polite and apologetic for her assistant hanging up on him). After that we decided to find another property management company. I could go on with other examples… Good luck.

      ******, 1). There isn't a way for us to see exactly when those occur and from what we can tell they were rectified immediately upon verification that there was an issue. Our program does occasionally do updates which will bring that sort of issue into occurrence. As was explained your husband was trying to text Kellina on her personal phone that had the number changed on it instead of through the appfolio system. We have record on that system of every time he reached out and most responses were within minutes. There are even several on holidays including Christmas that she responded on. 3) There was no appointment scheduled and I assure you if there had been she would have most certainly been there to meet you. Our office had no idea that you were wanting a visit until you called that you were already here. We make every effort to meet when our owners whenever possible. I have reviewed the move out pictures and didn't see the birds nest but I will say that if it was then we may have been out there when it had eggs in it. The doorknob being loose was never reported or we would have had it repaired. In reviewing the move out pictures there did not look to be any lights out and our staff carries lightbulbs with them so they can be replaced or are replaced by the cleaners. It is possible that they burned out between the time of the move out and when you went to preview your home. The move out inspection is immediately sent to each and every owner to see the condition of the property at move out. This includes the walls and I know from looking at the records that this was discussed between your husband and Kellina. I did apologize for our assistant but I was up there when that "hang up" occurred and she did ask if he was still there and then said "Goodbye" when there was no response. I have requested that they make return calls to clients when those issues happen in the future. While I completely understand about the walls but there were other factors to the 2 month period and not allowing pets had a strong baring on that, along with going above the suggested rental amount. Let's also add in that this 2 month period was right in the middle of the Holiday season. We truly are sorry that you feel that our performance was up to standard for you because we do try and make every effort to make sure that our owners are well taken care of. We are looking at all that occurred and trying to see how we maybe of better service in the future.

      Of course Sweethome will defend themselves on every accusation against them to protect themselves that’s only natural. I have pictures of the damage to the home including the birds nest, paint, lights out, and bugs so no need to make false statements. Also, within one week of letting them go and hiring another company we had 4 showings and 2 applications and already have the house rented out with no animals (since you are blaming the fact that we didn’t want any animals in the house and were trying to rent it out over the holidays). If Sweethome actually did their job advertising and stopped making excuses maybe they would be more successful with less poor reviews. If you’re running a business the customers come FIRST. So put your head down and fix your issues.
