We had a reservation with this company for three years and were never able to go on the cruise. The first delay was when COVID-19 hit and we completely understood that, ******** gave us room credit but we were still charged for the reschedule. Next we were told we had to get vaccinated so, we did that. The date started to near to finally go on the cruise and then we were told that we had to get our children vaccinated if we wanted them to be able to go to the kids zone, we did not feel comfortable so we requested a refund and then the disappointment started. The management truly seemed lost/clueless and we had to do a lot of the research to get the refund taken care of, then after weeks of struggling we went to pick up the refund check and a man that identified himself as the CEO started to talk down to my wife and mother-in-law and make them feel bad for requesting a refund based off of bad information/lack of information in an aggressive manner and then realized I was with them and started to change his dialogue, he brought up politics in this engagement and repeatedly pointed out that they had supposedly lost $2,000 because of our refund. This pointless engagement lasted for approximately twenty minutes and made my wife and mother-in-law feel extremely uncomfortable. His physical appearance was very unkept and he came across as very unprofessional. Please save yourself the trouble of dealing with this very unorganized and unprofessional travel agency. This specific location and the CEO should be very disappointed with their performance and handling of this situation. When you visited our store I had provided an itemized list of all payments made since 2018 and while you were reviewing, our CEO dropped by after spending most of the previous evening at the emergency room with one of our employees who fell and broke his hip. I am certain this affected what you stated; "His physical appearance was very unkept and he came across as very unprofessional"
I had stepped away to help another customer and was not present during your conversation with our CEO and therefore cannot comment on his remarks. I do know he has been hearing about the frustration all of us had endured trying desperately to make this vacation happen and the loss we incurred from your multiple cabin group vacation plan. When I returned from having the refund check issued and you had explained the details to him concerning ******** requiring 5 years and older to be fully vaccinated. He did not know that you had children less than 5 years of age and ******** cruise lines would allow them to cruise but they would not be able to participate in many of the onboard activities including Camp ********. When I returned, he told me he understood your issue with the children and he apologized. With all due respect, my staff and I, along with our booking agent spent several years and many hours beginning 2018 planning your vacation. This was not easy because the owner of the vacation was adding people, which changed the booking and the cost. After we scheduled your cruise, the pandemic hit and ******** canceled all cruises to include your group. When it was time to rebook, all of you were willing to be fully vaccinated except for the children because at the time, ********'s vaccine requirement was age 16 years and older. Soon after, the vaccination age was lowered to 12 years and older, and then again, it was lowered to 5 years and older be fully vaccinated. ******** allowed a small window of time that ended Feb 2022, to allow those who did not want to follow their Covid19 Vaccine requirements to cancel their cruise contract and release our customers from the said contract with no penalty. It took several weeks to recover and reconcile all payments made by different parties in your group. I estimate it cost us at least $1,200.00 to pay the staff to accurately reconcile and refund every penny from anyone in your group that made payments. It was a difficult amount of work and we are all saddened this awful pandemic has caused such an adverse effect on the travel business worldwide.
I hope you understand and will not hold hard feelings against us since we made sure you did not lose financially on a worldwide pandemic that was beyond our control or yours.

We've paid for our vacation in full (about $2000 over what we would've paid by ourselves). We are now being forced to get the covid vaccine if we want to go on a cruise. I do not recommend going through Military R&R Solutions. Now I'm stuck with either getting vaccinated or losing all the money I've paid them.Military R & R Solutions, Inc. Response

Dear ****, when we looked up your email address, we discovered this great review you gave us in *** of 2019 when you purchased a 7-day vacation for (2) people With No Black-Out Dates through our company. In your paperwork, you and a guest have the option of taking a cruise or staying at one of our 5-Star All-Inclusive resorts. If you were to take the cruise option; you would have professional guidance throughout to include all homeland security boarding documents which are somewhat complicated, also a 24/7 hotline phone number for assistance when traveling, a Balcony Stateroom, mid-ship upper level which is the best position on the ship. Your package includes pre-paid gratuities, port fees, taxes, Vegas-type shows, high-end meals, 24-hour room service, and much more. Unfortunately, the cruise lines must follow CDC guidelines and current protocols require Covid vaccinations and testing. Customers who do not want to get vaccinated for Covid have the option of one of our 5-Star All-Inclusive resorts located throughout the *********. Because you must fly internationally, the airlines do require Covid testing. If you choose this option; you and your guest will have a suite with an ocean view, all gratuities paid, all high-end meals prepared by chefs from all over the world included, all alcohol and other beverages included, taxes, airport transfers, non-motorized sports activities, Vegas type shows, and much more all included. We are doing the best we can to help our customers have a dream vacation and relieve some of the stress this awful pandemic has caused all of us. In summary, we are not forcing you to get vaccinated as outlined you can choose one of the resorts in the ********* or we also have a limited number of resorts in the United States. Secondly, I challenge you to provide proof that you can find the above-mentioned for $1,500.00 With No Black-Out Dates. We are working with our customers with the ever-changing Covid mandates and CDC / cruise line guidelines. So far those who have traveled either on a cruise or to a resort during 2021 and the first few months of 2022 are giving us very positive feedback. Excellent customer experience. To make long story short, Cherie is an awesome representative/ booking agent. She has been accommodating and been really patience with the process as well as our many requests being changed due to playing ARMY. My husband and I have not taken our cruise yet due to field operations and ARMY which is one word I can pretty much sum it all up. Those whose Military understand.
With Covid restrictions and again work we had to postpone so many times. Changing from ****** to ********************* and back. But I'm grateful I don't have to deal with any of the booking because military r&r overall provides assistance and have a great understanding. I'm grateful for their team and especially Mrs. Cherie for being super patient with me. 2 years of changing and she was easy to reach through email (fast response) and more. Grateful and would use them again in the future. Now let's hope ARMY won't be the reason we cannot make our trip again. Lol! But it's part of duty and it's ARMY any day.
