Patriot Angels enabled me to navigate the convoluted government red tape to get Dad the monetary help he and Mom needed to stay in their Assisted Living facility until their last days. Without the VA benefit Mom and Dad would have depleted their savings and been forced to relocate. Now they can celebrate anniversary #72 in the home they have grown to love, TOGETHER! The process is long and arduous but Dad's Patriot Angel team patiently walked me through each step of the way. BIG THANK YOU to Team Romeo! I never could have done it without you!

I agree with the negative reviews. Patriot Angels did not provide all the information up front about the process of applying for veteran benefits. They were very helpful at the beginning of the process but that did not last. They did not provide a list of detailed documents that were required and throughout the process, they kept asking for additional documents which we provided. The application was sent to the VA about a month before our mother passed away, 4 months after we started the application process. When we contacted Patriot Angels about her passing, we were informed that since the VA had not approved the application before her passing, our mother (or her family) would not qualify for any benefits (she was entitled to 4 months of benefits) nor would we receive any portion of the application fee paid to Patriot Angels. Note that we did not expect a full refund but possibly half of the fee. We had contacted Patriot Angels when our mother was not in the best of health and needed more care than we could provide. If Patriot Angels had provided the information that if the recipient of the benefits passes BEFORE the VA approves the appication, we probably would not have paid Patriot Angels $1295 for next to nothing. As *** * in the review below states, "they are not upfront and forthcoming inthe beginning."

This company is a total scam! They performed an initial consultation and said everything looked absolutely perfect with the information I provided to them. So I sent in the $1400 then they said my parents were over the asset limitations so they referred me to an atty and he wanted to charge me $2600 to create a trust Before I got the trust in place my mother passed away and my dad is now on hospice so I requested a refund of my $1400. I was told that I received the consultation and that is what I paid for even though I was never told in the consultation that I would need to create a trust This company left a very sour taste in my mouth Stay away from this company They are not up front and forth coming in the beginning

I am so thankful for the very well organized assistance I received from Patriot Angels. Luckily my Mom had my Dad’s documents, however Patriot Angels were there to assist if I did not have documents. They kept me updated on a regular basis. Everyone was very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate! With my busy schedule taking care of my Mom, getting the assistance of Patriot Angels, was so much more convenient then going to the VA.

Patriot Angels did a great job for us when I tried to get an Aid and Attendance pension for my Veteran brother. It was a long process but I couldn’t have accomplished what they did for him. Don’t hesitate to use them.

Glad that Patriot Angels was able to help get the aid and attendance approved, but the frustrating part was never seeming to talk to the same person twice and sometimes one person would tell you something and the next person would say something different.

This organization was very helpful in completing all the requirements for approval of Aid and Attendance. They promptly answered all questions and gave clear instructions for what needed to be done.
