The insurance policy I had on file for *** ********* was with ******* ****** and was from 11/16/21 to 11/16/22. I asked for verification that it was renewed. I texted him on 11/17/22 about the insurance, again on 11/22 and 11/23. On 11/28/22 it texted him about his past due payment for November due on 11/17/22. He replied by text on 11/29/22 "will call tomorrow and of course I have insurance. I'll email the new policy."
I put a note on the account that he would pay on 11/30/22. 12/01/22 I sent a text reminding him he promised to pay on the 30th and asked if he emailed the insurance. He texted 120/02/22 at 7:13 AM before we are open "not yet been sick with a bad fever. will call tomorrow or Monday and I'll email the insurance right away.
On 12/05/22 at 10:20 am I sent a reminder text of the promise to pay on 11/30/22.Right after that at 11:21 am I called his number and it said it was not a working number, I called the wife's number and it said call rejected.
On 12/6/22 I texted at 4:38 pm I need proof of full coverage insurance by tomorrow or park the ******* here until you get it I can't give you any more time.
On 12/08/22 at 2:27 pm I emailed him just in case the phone was still off and he wasn't getting the texts. I said " *****, Please call me today about the car payment and insurance. You have to have the insurance today. I can't give you any more time. It is required until you are paid in full. On 12/08/22 at 7:18 pm after we are closed he replied "I just saw this and will call first thing in the AM.
He called the office on 12/09/22 while I was at lunch and told the receptionist he had emailed it already. It was not in our email.
On 12/10/22 I put the vehicle out for repossession and it was repossessed on that same date 12/10/22. The reason for repossession was 25 days late on a monthly payment and no proof of full coverage insurance.
Monday morning he sent a new policy to the email that was start date 12/11/22. The car was already repossessed at that time.
As far as Monday and him coming to pay it off, that never happened. His dad and mom called and paid the loan off on their card. So the part where he said I questioned if his card would work is not true. When he arrived to pick up the vehicle it was already paid off.
