The experience with this dealership was about as unprofessional and unethical as you can get. I worked with sales manager Austin W****. It started OK and after a couple questionable offer letters that didn't match what we had discussed verbally, we got it squared away and I put a $1K deposit down on a vehicle. I live out of state so booked a flight to come pick it up. 3 days before I'm scheduled to arrive, Austin calls and said the detailer backed it into the garage. He apologized and said they wouldn't be able to sell it since it would need to get repaired via insurance. Sounded a little odd, but I accepted it and asked for a refund on my deposit and compensation for my flight change fees. I also asked for photos of the damage. After a couple days of no photos, I get a call from the GM (Stephen W****) asking me to call him. I ask for a response in writing, and he admits the car wasn't damaged, they simply SOLD IT TO SOMEONE ELSE AND LIED to get out of the transaction. While I hoped he would acknowledge the severity of how unethical this whole situation was, he simply chalked it up to a mistake and said we should move on. After multiple attempts at seeking further details about who authorized the lie and asking for reimbursement for my flight costs, Stephen W**** went silent, and no additional compensation was received. He said if I sent him a W-9, he could process a $500 refund; however, I wouldn’t be comfortable sharing my SSN that is on a W-9, and find it hard to believe they couldn’t issue a refund based on the flight receipts. In the end, I still don’t know if Austin made up the lie or was told to do so by Stephen/management. I also don’t know if they used my offer to sell it at a higher price to someone else or if it was truly accidental. In the end, the specifics probably don't matter, and I've accepted I probably won't be reimbursed my additional costs, but I hope my experience helps others who are considering buying from this dealership.

I purchased a 2015 Ford Escape from a ***** dealership in Mt. Juliet Tn and had to have the Transmission fixed so The Dealership put a Ford Remanufactured Transmission in it that has a 3 years unlimited mileage on it. I picked up my Vehicle in June of 22 after the Ford Transmission was installed and we had driven it for 13 months and It went out on our way to my Wound care appointment in Smyrna so I got the warranty paper out and it said Tow it to the Nearest dealer so That was Ford of Murfreesboro costing us $165.00 tow bill. Ford of Murfreesboro knows that its under warranty and tells us it will be 6 weeks before they look at it. They finally look at it and says we deny the warranty because it wasn't programmed properly so they want $6000 to fix it. I have spoke to several mechanics and they are saying that's not the case because it won't move off the lot and that Ford of Murfreesboro should honor the warranty and fix it. They won't so now I am being forced to come pick it up or they will impound it and pay them for the diagnostic of $149.50. WE need help and I feel like Ford is just wanting money and won't fix the vehicle. The Service manager has said they will call the ***** dealership and they didn't and then he said he would call *** ****** **** about the Warranty since the transmission was purchased and that Ford dealership. I can not afford to have this vehicle towed all over the state of Tn to find someone cover the Warranty. I did my part and got my vehicle to the nearest Ford dealer from where I was stranded. We need help!!

The diag was accurate. They put the car back together in poor condition and even drained the battery. The advisor responded average but not as amazing as the last. I wish we would have gone over the warranty in more detail but we didn't, so I've paid close to 4k due to miscommunication, which naturally would put a dent into my expenses. Thankful to Ford for selling me a car that only lasted a little longer than 90k miles. Huge s/o for the financial assistance, that part I truly did love which I was informed by the advisor has still not processed but it sounds like you're doing a sub par job!

I am writing to share my recent experience with Ford of Murfreesboro, in the hope that my account will shed light on the challenges I faced and contribute to a better understanding of the dealership's practices. My encounter with this dealership centered around a cam phaser recall repair on my 2019 Ford F150 Raptor. The incident unfolded shortly after I received my vehicle back from the dealership. Upon starting the engine, I was greeted with alarming metallic banging noises that immediately raised concerns. My attempts to establish communication with my service representative, Alex C*******, went unanswered. Left with no other recourse, I had my vehicle towed to another Ford dealership. It was there that a diagnosis uncovered a disturbing revelation: an incorrect BR3X-6A340-A bolt had been installed during the recall repair. This seemingly minor oversight led to catastrophic engine failure, with the technician's notes detailing the extent of the damage caused by this negligent installation. The events that followed resulted in significant financial strain, with a repair cost of $7,284.43 and an engine replacement expense totaling $14,409.11. Additional towing fees further compounded the financial burden. The most concerning aspects of this experience is the lack of accountability demonstrated by the manager of Ford of Murfreesboro, Johnathon G****. He has yet to offer an apology for the inconvenience and hardships I have faced. This lack of acknowledgment and empathy has deeply affected my trust in the dealership's commitment to customer care. The lack of oversight and accountability revealed by this incident raises questions about the practices and standards upheld by Ford of Murfreesboro. It is my sincere hope that it serves as a call to action for the dealership to reevaluate its procedures to prevent similar occurrences in the future.

Their service department are cheats and crooks. I had a few recalls on my car that needed to be resolved one of the recall issues caused an issue with my tail lights, of course, I am not supposed to be charged for recall issues now before I went to them another mechanic hooked my car up to a diagnostic machine and told me the recall device was the problem and I had to take it to ford so I did I spent over 6 hours waiting on my car all for them to lie and say another part was the issue and I have to pay almost $300 smh I get the detail bill and the part cost $8.00 and the remainder was labor cost ** I definitely feel taken advantage of by the service department CHEATS & SCAMMERS DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!!!!

The GM spoke to me unprofessional manner. At times he cussed at me. I bought 11/05/22. the vehicle was new to the lot and that it still needed to go to ****** for inspection. Before we proceeded with purchasing the vehicle, we were told that if anything showed up during inspection they would fix the vehicle. The vehicle I purchased was a ******. I test drove the vehicle. The vehicle drove perfect. No check engine light. I went back we told them we like the vehicle. We were told they were going to tow the vehicle to ****** for inspection. Days past no updates. After calling & being hung up on I finally was told that the vehicle was still at the dealership waiting for a tow. I waited a couple days. Called Was told the vehicle went to ****** & came back with a check engine light on. The mgr Eric said ****** put regular gas into my *** that's why the check engine light was on. Little did he know I had already spoken to ****** of Nashville when my husband went to go get his own ****** key serviced. We were told by ****** it was never inspected by them.I confronted mgr Eric about the vehicle not going to ****** & he finally told me Ford put the regular gas in my ***. He sent it local import shop 4 a mon. I got it back Wed b4 Thanksgiving. Engine light came on 3days later. I called Eric, He told me to bring jag back, he would give me a dealer car while my vehicle was being repaired. Days pass we were left in the dark about repairs. Ford forbid shop to discuss details about my vehicle with us.It was about a week before Christmas, they called me & told me to bring back the dealer car & GM would like to talk. Went to GM's office he told me that this was the first time he heard about issue. I advised him I got to enjoy my vehicle for 3days before the check engine light was on .He then starts telling me he is no longer authorizing any repairs on the vehicle because they shouldn't authorize repairs from the beginning. No accountability. GM did care.

I was very, very hesitant about bring my 2015 Ford Escape in for a recall. I read all of the negative reviews and I was definitely nervous. I tried to get an appointment at *** ****** Ford but it was very difficult getting an appointment with them. So I set up an appointment for the recall with Ford of Murfreesboro. I arrived 7:30 in the morning and drove directly to the reps for the recall. It was amazing. The service reps were very, very nice. Tanner M***, Service Advisor, got my car into the service system in lightning speed. My spirit told me I could trust him, so I asked for a tune up and oil change in addition to the recall. I was expecting the work to take all day, so they shuttled me home. They finished at 10:00 am. I was expecting the bill to be expensive and the work not done. Everything so far is perfect.

Where do I begin.Bought a 2018 Expedition with @50.000mls for 59,000.Within 1 month of having vehicle, putting less than 800 mls on it.The transmission started to slip.Took it back to Dealership. The head Service dept manager went with me an also told me the wheel bearing was bad also.It went down hill from here...Heard 10 reason's what was going on with it,no definitive answer .Then found out the transmission was supposedly fixed in Oklahoma where it came from at 40,000 mls. Then was told they messed up a seal when it was reinstalled there. Was told we will put another seal in an put it back together...Well that didnt fix it.So then we were told will replace the transmission if needed. We they all of sudden changed that to well if go any farther in transmission will might not get parts to fix it. 2 + weeks into original drop off date an no solution. So after waiting another week with no end in sight i was done with it.So i asked my original salesman to see what i could do about it.I wanted my money back for vehicle for the reason that they wanted top dollar for vehicle but didnt want to fix it or even try with 10 excuses or more than we were given an all lies.We were moving out of the state in over a month with no vehicle to drive, nor a solution. So when i asked for money back it was a change of character for them like its your problem not ours.So they offered 15,000 less that what i just purchased vehicle for. This did nothing but insult me.So then we spoke to the GM...again.He then got his son in law to help us find another vehicle from them he offered 8,000 less for trade in.At this point i was so mad i had to leave the place. So we had to have a vehicle to leave in a few days. She felt trapped,so we took a 10,000 loss on another vehicle which also had damage on it had been painted everywhere. It was a local trade like that mattered.Moved away 30 days later no tags, sent another one it ran out I was then told they lost plate.I ran out of room theres more tobthw story...

Sadly, I did not review the reviews of the dealership, Ford of Murfreesboro, before using them, they were recommended by our bank and they had the vehicle I wanted after months of looking... All was well with salesman etc... explained preapproved financing through our bank should be an easy deal once the price was negotiated. All set, now to the paperwork... they needed my husbands info to run credit, I questioned as to why since we already have a loan with our bank... the reply was they do that to pull the loan info in etc... thought shady and complained it would harm the credit score, was told it wouldn't... um it sure did, there were 9, yes 9 inquiries, so far a month out and my husband's score has dropped 8 points! But at the time we were really niave to this type of preapproved loan sale. So on to sign paperwork... only my husband's signature was needed. Again questioned why our loan is joint, oh you wanted joint we can adjust that, confusion as to why if the loan was pulled from our bank. So run through sign here, initial here, very quickly with a brief explanation of what paper was... ok and done. Congrats and out the door, Now we get a letter from some financing company regarding our 1st loan payment, no mention of our bank, I call our bank and guess what, they have no loan for us and our approved loan expired. What the what?! Totally shady, I hate car dealerships and have yet to have a good experience, all swarmy sales people. Totally stole the loan from our bank, lie upon lie as to the process, has sent our credit downward and we are financed through another bank that does not offer payment through online banking, which was why we wanted to go through our bank. Just not right, am working with our bank to get this dealership removed from their "partner" list so they do not recommend them any longer and will see where else I can review, post and make sure people are not fooled as we were. Sad state of affairs that lies spew so easily. As I wrote, we were niave, lesson learned.

I have been looking for a work truck for my business and found one I liked at Ford of Murpheesboro. After contacting a salesman at the dealership (Justin) he got some numbers together for me and sent them over. I immediately noticed that the taxes did not add up and that they were over double what they should be. I called the local tax office and they confirmed that the taxes were incorrect. I texted the salesperson and told him that the taxes were incorrect and they gave me the run around for the next 24 hours before they sent me over the numbers again. The taxes were still incorrect ( I even specified the exact tax rate & they have a computer system that allows them to calculate correct taxes so there is no excuse other than they were trying to overcharge me and pocket the money as a gross profit. After 2 days of back and forth they finally corrected the taxes and we agreed to the numbers. I submitted an online finance application as I am 3 hours away from this dealership. Before submitting my credit application (prime credit) I told the salesperson that I did not want my credit submitted to more than 3 banks because it should be very easy to get me approved for this truck (I was ultimately approved & I've never had to be submitted to more than 3 lenders). I did not want my credit dinged unnecessarily. They assured me that they would not submit me to more than 3 banks and since it was late in the evening I was told I would receive a call in the morning. The next day the salesperson was off work and I was contacted via phone call by a man named Kevin that identified himself as the "Sales Manager". He said he had spoken with Justin the salesperson and that he would be handling it from there. I WAS SUBMITTED 8 ADDITIONAL TIMES and can provide proof. Not only did they try to CHEAT me out of over $3,000 in taxes they also LIED to me about what they would do with my credit. This is honestly a nightmare situation. I've had to lock my credit to keep them from submitting me more out of spite and as a result my credit has dropped over 60 points. I will be consulting my lawyer to find out if I have any legal action that I can take because I have all the messages from the sales manager and the salesperson backing up my claims. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS. I hope no one ever has to go through what this nightmare that I have had to endure.
