Please know there are organizations that will do this same process for free. Research before, I wish I had. In the beginning I was pleased with the process until the final review came back from VA and then all my responses ..now we just wait. That was in May this is August. I am out the one time lawyer fee,which you do not need, they know this upon consultation. It is tons of paperwork they say they help you with when in reality it is you that does the leg work. Veterans offer a variety of FREE services.

I cannot thank the staff at Center for Elder Veterans Rights enough for their assistance. My family was put in contact with CEVR by Ron B**** at *********** when placing my father in assisted living. CEVR made the process seem so simple. They are organized in helping you collect all the documentation needed for filing. They were so encouraging, supportive and patient the whole time. I have heard of others working on getting benefits without support and all their troubles they went through. CEVR made it a painless process. I highly recommend using their services.

This group is amazing! Been trying to get aid/help for both my parents, 1 w/ alzheimer, 1 that is bedbound, for over a year, it has not been easy and everything has been out of pocket! The caregiving agency i am using shared their knowledge of this firm, i reached out and they assisted. For the cost it was well worth it. They held my hand through all the lengthy paperwork, application etc. It took 4.5 months to push through and get approved! The caregiving agency that we are with shared it can take up to 2yrs for families doing stuff on their own but with this firm they have been able to push through in 3-6 months. That held true. OMG the person i am working with is amazing and walked me through all my (sideways) questions and didn't bat an eye:). i can't say enough about this firm and the program and what they do to help the vet.
