  Waiting for amended estimate from June 19 to July 14.On June 19 ******* was paid 35% down on the original estimate which he received more money down.********* infomercial/presentation means nothing when he doesnt follow manufacturers instructions.On the morning of July 9 @9am No supervisor/********* to explain the scope of the job and to introduce the workers to the home owner. ******* sent a family of five, one man to carry the sealer, two women with brooms, swifter wrapped in old use rugs and two teenage boys. They came with no ladder to reach the balcony from the outside,no drip cloths to protect wooden floors when coming inside and out of home tracking sealer from the porchs.. When I noticed that the crew wasnt using any water I asked the only male why he didnt wash and strip the old sealer he replied that ******** said to only sweep the porches then limited with English. I had explained to ******** that my husband and I had sealed the pavers several years ago and needed to be stripped. The sealer needed to be applied in the evening, no rain. The crew applied the sealer in the morning. Took two hours. (Rained that evening). I then called the office to remind ********* that I was still waiting for the updated quote and expressed my concerns about the workers he had sent. He apologize for his workers not being prepared, he apologized for using child labors to apply a dangerous chemical. ********* said the Parents were training the children. wanting to finish the job. I received the amended quote on July 14.********* said he would return on July 15 to apply the second coat and when he did come he came with the same crew but this time one man, one woman and a child. No ladder or dropped cloths. ******* warrantee means nothing when the manufacturing application wasnt ************ Workers and or ************* wasnt acceptable or expected when I hired this company for the price I paid.

Wed like to clarify a few things regarding your concerns.The teenagers present were training as helpers, not serving as lead workers. The woman assigned to your project is highly qualified and brings more experience than many in the industry. At our company, we fully believe in and support women performing the same work as men and doing it exceptionally well.Regarding your request to carry a sealed 100 lb. bucket up 30 feet and over a railing: for safety reasons, thats not something were comfortable asking any crew member to do. Our standard procedure has always been to bring materials up the stairs and remove them safely afterward, typically lowering items like buckets from the balcony and discarding used rollers which has never been an issue in the ******* for the weather, radar showed no rain in the area at the time. While pop-up summer showers can occur unexpectedly, the brief rain did not affect the quality or timing of the work completed that day.Weve made several efforts to resolve this situation with you, including offering a discount off the agreed price. This project was a straightforward sealing job simply rolling the product onto the surface and we delivered it with professionalism and care.We regret that you were not satisfied, and we always strive to learn and improve from every *************** regards,Guillot Construction LLC

  On July 9, 2025 Guillot didn't advice customer that a training crew of five would need to enter home without supervision, I would like ******** to provide proof of discount price offer. I have video of ******** at my home July 15 with three of the same trainees to finish, when he was asked to adjust for not stripping the pavers. ******** refused and customer asked for final bill.
