      My vehicle, 2009 SRX, broke down on February 4, 2022 and was towed to the Cadillac of Jackson dealership. On the next day, I received a call from ****** ******, service advisor, who was inquiring as to what was wrong with my vehicle. I explained to him that the vehicle would not move into gear. He advised me that he would have the vehicle checked out and let me know something by Monday, February 7, 2022. ****** advised me that the vehicle would have to have the transmission replaced. I advised him to order the parts and have the vehicle fixed. While talking to ******, I was advised by him, the parts guy, ****, and the service manager ******, that there was only one company that could build the transmission and it would not be arriving until March 2, 2022. I agreed to have the order placed and was advised that I had to put almost half down prior to them placing the order. I immediately wrote a check for $4,000.00 to make sure there was not a delay in placing the order. My check is dated February 8, 2022. I contacted ****** on February 25, 2022, as to follow up if the transmission had in fact been at least shipped and was on its way to the dealership to be ready for March 2, 2022. ****** told me that the transmission should be at the dealership by March 1, 2022 and I should have my vehicle by March 2, 2022. I contacted ****** on March 2, 2022 and he advised me that the transmission had not arrived and he didn’t know when it would come, but he would check and call back. ****** never called me back. Several days went by and I finally got word my vehicle was ready March 14, 2022. I noticed on the invoice “customer pay shop charge for repair order” $65.00 . After paying $6797.80 for transmission, $1704.00 for labor, $65.00 for misc charges, and sales tax, I was out of $9,016.68 and received poor service from a dealership that represents Cadillac just doesn’t seem right/fair and it seems like I paid a charge for a repair order.
