      Blaze credit union is completely unreliable, they would not help me remove a negative remark from my credit report made by them after using their own auto pay feature that failed for a loan I have with them. The individual on the phone would not understand my problem and kept repeating himself, I felt like I was in an episode of the Twilight Zone and basically his answer was “I can’t help you.” What a joke.

      Have been member for 50+ years, am a 79yr old widow. They would not help me recoup a fraudulent charge of $448 on my account because I found it over 60 days, on my yearly statement of expenses, even tho it was not my expense.
      Very disappointing!!

      The new Bill pay system is terrible. They deduct the money from your account immediately but your biller doesn’t get it for 2-3 days. Seems like a scam to get you to overdraft more often. My account is good but if I was paycheck to paycheck it would add a financial burden.

      Blaze is 100% scam I noticed this morning there was a $5 return Mail fee that was being deducted from my account for the last 5 months. I called BLAZE and asked what this was for and when they asked my mailing address and I have told them that i do get my statements at my address the refunded my money pretty quick. I said If i was over drawn they would charge a fee so I expect the same for each time they too my money for NO reason. the manager told me "we don't give out money" i answered back "no you just take it" then she said i was responsible to monitor my account yes but Not from you. So if I am supposed to watch my account i case BLAZE takes my money when they shouldn't why the heck do I put it there. VERY IMCOMPITANT!!!
      I guess I will be looking for a different Bank.

      With the merger from Hiway to Blaze, the customer service and the correct information is not being given out. Called today to cancel the gap because the car was sold. July 2024 we refinanced and bought gap. On their recorded line, the representative asked if we wanted gap, i asked if it worked like other gaps and if we also get our money back when we cancel. The specialist replied that it works just like all other gaps.
      Today i call because the car has been sold and they advised me that according to the contract i signed, gap cant be cancelled after 60 days of the contract. So know that if you buy their scam of a gap insurance, they will still cover the loan amount even after you sell the car. Shady business dealing.

      With the merger of Spire to Blaze, customer service has been absolutely terrible. I have literally spent 5 hour on the phone a total of 3 times and have gone into a branch office and still cannot get access to my credit card statement. I wish I could understand the person I am speaking to as they do not have english as a first language. Absolutely terrible. Had been a customer of Spire for over 8 years and felt good about the customer service. NOT ANY LONGER. I am leaving too much frustration!

      Wish there was a zero rating.
      I have been a member of Spire for over 10 years. Ever since they switched to Blaze I have had constant problems with logging in online. All of my settings and contact info is correct, yet when they ask to verify my account with a phone call with the verification number, I NEVER receive a call.
      When I contact them via their contact us page, I dont get a reply. When I call, I end up on hold for so long I finally have to just hang up. I live in the north woods of MN. There is not a branch that I can drive to in under 2 hours. The online help page is useless. Only stating that my phone company or internet is the problem. IT IS BLAZE's PROBLEM. I shouldnt have to spend so many hours and stress just trying to see my accounts and money.
      I recommended Spire for years. NO MORE. :( Do not put your money here.

      They sent out a letter to everyone with our names, routing AND account numbers on them. SO if you never received that, just know that Blaze sent your personal banking information in the mail and someone maybe intercepted it.
      This merger destroyed something that worked so well. Disgusted with this place and leaving asap.

      Don't make a mistake... They will treat you like a red-headed step child. Customer service will throw you in an endless hold loop while you're spinning your wheels and going no where.
      Blaze Credit Union had destroyed Hiway! Worst Credit Union. Will not recommend them. I'm gonna take out another loan to pay this crappy bank off of what I owe and join CashApp, Dave our chime. Have had far better experiences with them than Blaze

      Miss the highway credit union .this credit union sucks. Left phone number for someone to call back . Hours later .still no call !!!! Had to go there last time !!!!
