We had a horrific experience and were treated in such a disrespectful and rude manner by the controller and the owner of the company. In all of my years I have never had such an unprofessional experience after expressing our concern about this business adding over a $1,000 cost to the original agreement. We were purchasing a 50k stacker trailer and had put money down to hold the trailer while we were on vacation. We had expressed that we wanted E-Trac installed in the trailer and they agreed to install it. We also stopped in to have estimates on adding a camera and lights. We waited and waited and never received those estimates. We got a last minute text from the sales guy saying we would have to pay another $1,000 to add E-Trac. We had explained that we wanted it bolted it and not self tapped. They agreed to this originally. When we expressed our concern and stated that a verbal agreement was made and money was put down on the trailer that we should not have to pay to have it bolted in the trailer. We ended up talking with Nikki, the controller/sales manager. She was immediately defensive and questioned why the trailer was sitting on their lot for so long. We explained that we were on vacation and we would not be back for 4 weeks, which is why we put $2,000 down on the trailer. She actually insulted us by implying that we may have had financing issues and that is why the trailer sat on their lot for 4 weeks. Although they agreed to hold it for us when we put the money down. She was rude, didn't seem one bit interested about our concern over a last minute charge that was not agreed upon. She sided with her employees and didn't act as though she was concerned at all about this charge. It was then turned over to the owner who initially said he would look into the recorded call. He said he would get back to us and never called. So we called him back. He then accused us of lying about work we had done on a different trailer the prior week. We were quoted about $200 to $300 for labor on that particular trailer and ended up paying an $800.00 bill. The owner said we lied about it. Once we said we would post a negative review if they weren't willing to do something about their miscommunication within their departments, regarding a last minute charge of $1,000, the owner said to my boyfriend in a hostile manner. "What do you do for a living?" "It'll be easy for me to find out" and he threatened retaliation on our business. Very unprofessional, rude and zero empathy for coming to some kind of mutual agreement. They did not care at all about resolving the issue. They actually pulled the deal from us. Refunded the deposit and ruined our upcoming vacation because we didn't have a stacker trailer to haul our stuff. Just awful! As a National Sales Manager in my past work experience, I can say I have never seen such horrific customer service.
