      I should have read others reviews before selecting this Company. I want to share our familys current and rather unsatisfactory experience with Flooring Expo by Carpet King. We entered into a contract with this business to have three small bedrooms carpeted (2 of which have old wood flooring that was to be removed). We were very specific in the contract (Remove wood flooring).We scheduled install and had all three rooms emptied and ready. The installers arrived at 8:30am and looked at the three rooms and, despite a language barrier between us, they told me that they would carpet over the wood floors. I let him know that we purchased services ( totaling $1,300!) to have the old wood flooring removed. He said they dont have experience removing wood floors and that we would need to have someone else do it. I told him to just carpet the one bedroom and we would have to contact Carpet King to see why they didnt have someone qualified to remove the wood flooring. I called Carpet King, they said they didnt know why their installers did not proceed to remove the wood floors. Their install **** contacted their installers who told them we didnt remove the wood floors because they were nailed down (imagine that!). Needless to say, this is turning into an inconvenience. All the bedroom furniture will have to be put back (so we can sleep in our bedrooms) and a second install day scheduled at a later date (and remove all the furniture again).Its all manageable, but wanted to share in case others needing carpentry want to just avoid the inconvenience we have experienced. ********* being 20/20, next time we seek a good home improvement business, we will be sure to read reviews and recommendations by others.       The client is correct: the carpet installer could not handle the take-up of the wood floor, since it was nailed down wood. We should have done a better job scheduling that part of the job. We dispatched a wood installer the very next day, who removed the existing wood floor per the contract terms. Customer complaints are the schoolbooks from which we learn, and we learned that we should do a better job scheduling the right technician for the right task.We apologize for our clients inconvenience!

      My wife and I had purchased new flooring throughout our entire house. We arrange to have the flooring installed in a 3 day period. There were several areas in our older home that would require leveling of the floor with self leveling agents and the company and sales person was made aware of these areas. The day the installation crew came out they stated those areas were not needed in spite of our concerns that this was necessary. Fast forward 54 days later and 6 return visits from the company to correct these issues that were ignored when the installation crews initially came out. Our entire home has been in disarray and cannot use over half our home for the past 2 months for something that should have been taken care of during the initial installation. My wife and I have had to incur a good deal of extra expense on our part not to mention numerous additional hours each time the company sends repair people to fix the flooring. We have incurred expense of kenneling our dogs each time, we have each lost 2 additional days of vacation time which is precious now days and additional expense of ordering food to be delivered due to not having cooking facilities each time they have to come out. In addition we have had to sit at our kitchen table since our furniture has occupied our main house for 2 months.The company offered us a paltry amount for our time and expense lost and has not even been resolved at this time which means additional expense is yet to be determined. The company does not seem to care in following up and customer that have paid in a priority status. They only seem to care about taking your money and any follow up needed you are made to feel as though you are an inconvenience. I would recommend anyone considering having Carpet King/Flooring Expo to any installation to check with any other alternatives you can. They use subcontractors that have no accountability. An extremely frustrated and angry customer.

      This company is horrible, I am so disappointed in them, I spent over $6000 on flooring from them 2018 the carpet I purchased is completely wrinkled all over. I have pictures as proof. When you call to try to get your issue resolved they dodge calls. Don’t believe their lifetime warranty scam. All they want is your money. I asked them to have the mill representative that’s responsible for manufacturing the carpet they gave and they can’t even follow through with that request. I am taking them to court. I know a bad business when I see it.
