Worst experience ever! No matter what they will always try to find some reason to cancel your shop! Shops are confusing and irritating and to get through editing is nearly impossible. Some shops require you to purchase memberships or items with your own money which in most cases is not refunded correctly if refunded at all. Don't waste your time or money with these people. They only actually paid me for 4 out of 7 shops that were all completed and all survey questions answered! Any worse and I would just call it a SCAM!!!Review from Pamela M

Sights on Service, aka Secret Shopper, is a good, honest company to work for. I have enjoyed working as a shopper for this mystery shop provider over the years, and never had any issues or problems with them. Their policies have always been clearly stated and they provide detailed guidelines for each shop. They pay fairly well, in my opinion, and I don't recall this company ever having been late with a payment. It would be nice to be paid by PayPal rather than a physical check, but that doesn't really bother me - it's easy enough to make a mobile deposit to my bank by taking a picture of the check. Secret Shopper also holds raffles, gives referral bonuses, and awards a cash prize monthly to the Shopper of the Month. I've never won, but think ************** they offer them.Review from Laura F

I am a secret shopper for several different companies and have had great experiences. I recently decided that I’d like to spend more time being a shopper so I signed up with this company. I accepted my first job which was at one of my favorite stores that I go to all the time and it was a great fit. However, on the day I was supposed to do the shop, I had to work late unexpectedly and couldn’t make it by the time the store closed. Most companies have an option to reschedule right on the job listing, and if not they at least provide the name and email of the coordinator so you can contact them for help. There were none of these options available, and I finally found an email address on one of the emails they sent me that was generic and didn’t seem to go to any one particular person. I sent my email that said what happened and said I could do the shop today. I had already spent a good amount of time familiarizing myself with the shop guidelines, as well as studied and took their required test to become a shopper, so I’m already invested in this $15 shop. This morning I get one email saying that ‘new shoppers don’t have rescheduling privileges’, sent from a nameless person from their tablet. Then I get another email saying I missed a shop and my account has been dropped. Seriously? Well it’s their loss because I have a 9 or 10 star rating with the 8 other companies I shop for and there are hundreds of other legit secret shopping companies I can work with that are more professional and value their shoppers.

Your first 3 shops are an assessment of your commitment as an Independent Contractor to meet our Clients' requirements as detailed in Shop Instructions for each shop. Our Clients require we complete their shops, and as a result, we require our Shoppers to complete the shops which Shoppers choose to sign up to complete. The following policy is strictly enforced: Any new Shopper canceling or rescheduling their first shop will be dropped. As you did not complete your first scheduled shop your account has been closed. It was explained in detail in the information/expectations for a new shopper which you acknowledged and signed on February 26, 2022. Thank you, The Coordinating Team at Secret Shopper
