    In May, 2023 my daughter, ******, went in for a teeth cleaning. This preventative care, is covered at 100% for patients. In February, 2023 of the same year she had her wisdom teeth removed. Our coverage is for teeth cleanings every 6 months and are considered fully covered. I have just received a bill from the dental office for $305 for ******'s cleaning in May. I have questioned the dentist and discussed this with the insurance. The dentist said she had reached her allowance of $1500 so the remainder of the bill we are responsible for. The remainder of the preventative care, dental cleaning which is covered at 100% every 6 months is now NOT covered because she had wisdom teeth removed. IF cleanings are covered at 100% then this should be covered. Delta Dental PPO plus member Medtronic ******************* subscriber id *********

    It's absolutely outrageous how the robot can't understand the very numbers to the account it's asking you for! More than a few times, does a person call back trying to get a human being in order to ask ONE question to DELTA DENTAL. Robot doesn't understand what you're saying to it. It's always frustrating no matter how level-headed you might try to remain. The ROBOT, which you would think was PROGRAMMED to understand numbers, can't SEEM TO EVEN get you past the introduction stage of the phone call! It says, "In order to get you to the right person." HA! Really? Good luck! Well, it usually just serves to piss you off until you hang up. So, when [and if] you're able to finally speak to a representative and you tell them what a horrid time you had with the robot that they have set up to get you into their system. They just don't care, and there's NO ONE to tell your frustration to regarding their robot. TRY to read your insurance number to their machine....WELL, they do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about it other than to offer offer an empty apology when [and IF] you ever get to speak with a human agent. Then NOTHING EVER CHANGES. It will be the same exact way the next time you need to reach out to Delta Dental Insurance.
