April 2024: ***************** came out to our home the same day to look at our furnace. They did an amazing job. All of ***************** staff are amazing, very thorough and informative. They all worked fast and explained everything going on with our furnace and A/C. We purchased a new furnace and A/C, and they were able install them both in the same day. I would definitely recommend ***************** to anyone. They're a wonderful company with friendly, professional staff.Review from David T

Genz Ryan is wildly over priced electrical service with deceptive practices. Do not let them in your home. They will use fancy language to scare you into overpaying. They use flagrant terms to overcharge you. For example, "voltage supply renovation system" is fixing a bad outlet. "Fan illumination system renovation" is installing a fan. And "main electrical disribution renovation" is spending no more than 15 minutes on your electric panel doing cosmetics and charging you $500 for it. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! In Sept 2022 Getz-Ryan came to my home to do a “tune up”. I posted a review on October 25th describing how their tech told me my furnace was emitting dangerously high CO levels. He tried to pressure me to install a new furnace and when I refused his sales pitch, he left my home with the furnace still emitting very high, dangerous carbon monoxide. I called a different company to verify the condition of the furnace and was told the gas valve had been “tampered” with, he reset it back to the normal setting and confirmed the furnace was working fine. That visit to correct a deadly situation cost me $175. Jeff from Getz-Ryan customer service department was very apologetic, promised to refund the $175 and persuaded me to let another of their techs come back to recheck the furnace. In Jeff’s response to my bad review in October, he stated that his tech “confirm our technicians diagnosis”. This is a lie!! The second Ryan-Gets technician told me the original tech falsified his report and that the pictures in his inspection report were not even of my furnace! He assured me that the furnace was working just fine and the original tech would be reprimanded. I waited about a month and did not receive the check for $175 from Getz-Ryan. I called Jeff and he said he would send another check. That was over two months ago and still NO CHECK! I have given up that I will ever be reimbursed for what their technician did to my furnace.Genz-Ryan Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical Response

Genz Ryan came to do my fall furnace tune up per my membership. They found a leaking gas valve in front of my burners. The approximate cost was $1800 to replace the valve . I told them that I had a home owner warranty that would replace it . Second HVAC service came out and showed me that he could not see any signs of a tune up being done and that there were no gas leaks coming from my $1800 gas valve!!!!!! If I could give them -5 stars I would. They came to put in a hot water tank and fix a leaky valve leading to the fridge and left with my daughter with a $7,000+ bill!!!! Do not hire these people. They scared her into thinking the valves in her home ALL had to be replaced, even though NONE of the other ones were leaking. When they replaced the valves under her bathroom sink-her faucet started to leak, so then they wanted ANOTHER $1,000 to replace the faucet!!! We did it for $80. I asked for an itemized list of work done, product costs, etc and they couldn't produce it. I don't know what to do to help my daughter recoup any of the over costs. Genz-Ryan installed new AC & Furnace for me in January of 2021. Since then I have had to call them once per year for issues related to both systems not functioning. In this last effort, they have scheduled twice and not shown up and rescheduled on me two other times. The units are still under warranty so it's not financially smart for me to go somewhere else to get them serviced but I cannot get Genz Ryan to actually show up to service the faulty units they have installed. Go elsewhere, they used to be a great local company and each of the people who have actually shown up have been great to work with but I will no longer recommend them given my experience with the company as a whole.Genz-Ryan Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical Response

BEWARE! I had Getz-Ryan do their $29 tune-up on my furnace on Sept 14th and was told by their tech that the carbon monoxide readings were over 400 PPM and the furnace should be shut down and red tagged but that he "wouldn't do that" and tried to sell me a new furnace instead. I got a second opinion and was told yes the CO was over 400 PPM but someone had "tampered" with the gas pressure and set it at twice what it should be. He reset the pressure back to normal and said the furnace was fine. Thank goodness I got the second opinion or my CO levels would have been deadly when I turned on my furnace in October. The Getz-Ryan tech left my home knowing the CO levels were deadly and did not red tag it per law. I think the $29 tune up is a gimmick to get their foot in the door and sell furnaces.Genz-Ryan Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical Response
