I've used ********** twice in the past couple months and everything went as smoothly as it could. We had carpeting installed in 4 different areas. ****** helped me find just what I was looking for and she was as accommodating as possible in finding a time that worked for us to get the carpeting installed. We had the same installers for both jobs and they were conscientious and now appear to have done a fabulous job, including having to piece sections together.I would not hesitate to use them again.Review from D. I had two sheet vinyl floors installed by ********** the last three years. First floor failed two years after installation, yellowing. Second floor failed ONE WEEK after installation, bubbling. ********** did have their (non-Licensed) installer come out several times to try to repair the bubbling with no improvement. I also had several other licensed flooring installers, not **********, come out to look at my brand new floor with bubbling. What I received from the licensed installers was a few chuckles and head shaking when they looked at the ********** floor. Every one of the other flooring companies told me that BOTH of my sheet vinyl floors failed due to incorrect installation by **********. Again, INCORRECT INSTALLATION on Both floors. Fortunately I took pictures during the entire installation. This store has the worst costumer service I have ever experience. *******************, part owner, will be nice with the customer until there is a problem with their product or services. The ****** family, sisters **** (contemptuous) and the part owner sister book keeper, part owner father ***, only goal is to maximize their profits. They have no idea how to provide good customer service or install a floor. All licensed flooring companies WILL have a license number on their website. If that number is not there on the website you will be hiring a non license flooring installer and taking chance. I filed a complaint with the ***************************** ********************* refused to reply to the AG's letter. They had to mail the letter out it twice. I took this retail store to court per the Attorney General's recommendation. Shame on me for not doing my homework and hiring Seesedt's, a company that is incompetent and does not have licensed flooring installers.Seestedt's Carpet and Linoleum Company Response

In regards to the complaint filed,******* did purchase a vinyl floor through Seestedts back in 2017. She called us with concerns of the floor turning yellow in and around August/September of 2020. We immediately went to her home to inspect the floor and discovered that it did indeed turn yellow. I submitted the photos and inspection report to IVC, which is the process we have to do. Upon IVC reviewing the report and photos, they opted to send out an independent inspector. After the inspector was out, I received a phone call from All Tile, the distributor of IVC in the ********************** and was told they were going to honor the claim and to offer replacement of the same product. I called ******* with this information. She didnt want to go with the same floor feeling that she may have the same problem. So we discussed her options. She looked at IVCs catalog online and selected samples to be brought to her home. I informed her that some of her options are going to cost additional money because they were a higher quality of vinyl than she previously purchased. She, at that time, seemed ok with that fact. After samples were dropped off and she made her selection, she informed me that she was indeed choosing one of the more expensive options along with changing the layout of the existing install. She decided that she wanted to do one of the areas in a different pattern all together, and add a small powder room/sink room. Because of this, it takes more materials to do the job. Since the laundry room was now to be done in a different pattern/color, the waste from the kitchen was no longer being used. Plus the additional material and labor needed for the extra room she added adds to the total cost of the project. The amount of $553.99 is that additional amount. She was unhappy about having to pay additional and made that clear to me. I told her she would owe no additional money if she went with the same floor and layout as before, but she did not want to do this. I had many phone conversations with her over this fact. She was not always cooperative when it came to the discussion of the additional amount. She does have a bubble in her new floor. We do not deny that. We did the recommended repair as she mentioned of the glue with syringe. I wish it would have worked. It did not, so now we have to try to repair differently. I trust our installer who has been doing this for over 25 years when he says to try this other repair. I completely understand that we are in a middle of a pandemic, but we take the proper precautions. If she was this uncomfortable with having people in the home, this whole replacement project could have been delayed. None of this was mentioned to us as a problem until now.She has also demanded I provide her the report from the inspection. IVC will not give me a copy of the report. They stated that if a claim was approved, they do not give out copies of the report. If I had the report I would happily give it to her and really dont know what difference it makes in regard to the repair in question.I cannot say why a bubble happened, other than the fact that it does sometimes. Im not running from the problem but offering to fix it. The bubble is in her pantry. We would not be tearing up the whole floor as she mentions, but a small area of her pantry that is about 6 x 6. Ive even offered to move the items out of the pantry for her.The fact that she says Im unprofessional with her is unfair. She does not accept any offer of repair or adjustment. Because I have not caved into giving her the full amount back, she is unhappy, and honestly I didnt know what else to do or say. She did not share the whole email chain between us where it shows Ive offered repair with moving the items in her pantry for her, or an adjustment of $250, which I feel is more than fair. I stand firm that Seestedts is 100% in the right to do the repair. We do not feel like we owe her the $553.99. That additional cost was her choice by not replacing with the same materials and choosing an upgrade and using two patterns. In regards to her comments about our installers not being licensed is ridiculous. They are sub-contractors who carry all the proper insurance and are registered with the ******************. We did not install her flooring wrong as she states. In fact the original floor turned yellow due to smoking in the house. It is true because the floor was still its original color under appliances and things that were sitting on the floor, places where the smoke could not get to. I did reply to the ************************* as well. She even included my response in the paperwork she filed when she submitted this to Conciliation Court. So to say I did not is false. We did meet in Conciliation Court and the Judge ruled in ********** favor. I do not know why she feels the right to file a complaint here as well....this is harassment. Thank you.**** YeagerManagerSeestedts1891 *************************************************Customer Response

Unfortunately, ********** does not appear willing to resolve my concerns. Instead this retailer is more interested with finger pointing and a showing lack of professionalism. Maybe that is one reason why ********************* co-owner, had to respond to three negative Yelp reviews all on the same day, 09/29/2021 including mine. When I have had work done at my home is the past the job usually turns out great. But I do realize there are times that is not always the case and the hired service does not turn out as promised. Those very few times that it has happened in my home the company is more than happy to come back to correct is issue, knows exactly why the issue happen and how to correctly fix the issue the first time. Not in ********** case.My BBB review was submitted by the encouragement of the ****************************. The ************************** mailed the first letter to ********** on 02/18/2021 and requested a response from ********** in seven days. No response from ********** so a second letter from the **************************** mailed out another letter on 03/17/2021 requesting a response in ten days. On 04/28/2021 ********** sent a late response to the ** ************************ but ********** was unwilling to resolve my concerns. They choose to do finger pointing and play the blame game. It is confusing why a retail store that claims to be so experience with flooring would ask a paying customer with no flooring experience what the solution is to repair their bubbling floor as ********************* states. That never happened in this case, this is simply ********************* trying to shift the responsibility. ********** installer made the decision on how to repair my floor. ********** was out to my home several times to try to fix the bubbling floor with no improvement. With so many return visits from ********** to try to repair my floor it sure seems like ********** doesn't know why my floor bubbled within one week after installation, how to repair the floor or if the floor can even be repairedAs far as conciliation court, yes we had a ZOOM case. There was no Judge but more accurately a referee. The referee did not "rule in ********** favor" but ruled that entitlement was not demonstrated. ********** submitted no evidence to the courts. The courts decision can be appealed by myself if I choose. With that being said if ********** is interested with resolving this issue, I would be happy to listen to their ideas if they can be professional and there are no personal attacks from the business.Seestedt's Carpet and Linoleum Company Response

I tried to work with the above client, and do repairs (which we were not out multiple times for) but she would not allow it. I stand by the ruling of the Conciliation Court.Customer Response

Interesting. The court referee asked ********************* specifically "how many times were you out to my home" **************** replied with a few times. Then the referee asked **************** "were you out to the house more than one time". **************** replied with "yes".
