Funny though all the other concrete people around would have ‘replace the bad section for their company reputation’ but not 30-30 it’s just well that’s all we can do and recommend. So until they step up or not their company will keep getting a bad reputation! Stay tuned:)

The issue they have with their driveway is damage caused by road salts melting on the center of their driveway over the winter where they park their car. Living in *********, road salt is commonly used. We understand the frustration homeowners have with the effects road salt has on concrete. The construction industry and other concrete people do not warranty damage caused by road salt. Replacement of a section of their driveway would require removal of the center of the driveway, which the customer was not willing to accept.

Typical of ***** not taking accountability! Again I dont park my car on the driveway in the winter so thats false! Heard from other concrete sources and yes you can have a bad pours it happens but they acknowledge that and help you fix the problem for their reputation! Not ***** though!

This company does not stand behind the integrity of their work or materials. Their warranty is worthless and they will accuse you of being the cause of a defect. We had our concrete driveway completed in the fall of 2021 and by spring of 2022, less than 6 months, there was already scaling in multiple areas. We intentionally had ***** concrete compete both sealing applications. However, when their product and application lead to almost immediate deterioration, they took zero responsibility and accused ** of using salt on our driveway, which we never had. We have tried multiple attempts for them to honor their warranty guarantee and stand behind their work, with no success. I would never recommend doing any business with them. Zero integrity and no lack of ownership or responsibility.

Concrete sealers are recommended to help protect driveways from the effects of road salt, but sealers can not guarantee against the damage of the road salt.

I’d give no stars if I could- HORRIBLE company to do business with! They have terrible business communication which led to my patio being poured all wrong! I ended up with a 16” drop on the outer edge (true safety concern) and they poured it into the back of my deck stairs. Randy is their company B.S’er they sent out who confessed to it being poor business communication and they would make it right. I created a new map/drawing with him for how it was supposed to be and AGAIN was never given that map (exactly what happened with Sharon who did our original estimate- twice is not a mistake, it’s bad business!) Except they wanted me to pay to fix their mistake (4500) or keep the eye sore and pay to make alterations to my yard to accommodate the horrendous chunk of concrete they called a patio- none of which were actually feasible (city ordinances, wetland restrictions and also issues with my deck stairs/irrigation system). I spent over a month arguing via email and he just kept repeating himself (fix my whole yard to accommodate the patio) because they didn’t want to fix it! After threats to file complaints and go to court they finally agreed to tear it out and do it the right way- the way it was meant to be. STAY AWAY from them!!!!

As always there is more to the story. The slope of their property was such that the top side of the new patio was level with their home. The lower or bottom side of the patio was 16 inches lower. In most situations fill material is added to the lower level to minimize the drop. KAF was unaware of the drop or need to add fill until after the patio was installed. KAF was unwilling to have fill brought in to remedy the drop in elevation. To resolve the situation 30 30 Concrete agreed to remove 12 inches of base material to lower and level the patio. The new patio was installed and the requests of KAF were met.

Again, this company will lie to make it seem like they did things the way they told us they could. The slope of my property was not the issue (none of the other concrete companies I received quotes from had an issue with the slope, and clearly it wasnt an issue because the reinstalled patio was done correctly without any issues because of the slope. The slope only came into play on the outer edge of the patio anyway.) They kept trying to bully me into keeping the monstrosity they incorrectly installed by suggesting bringing in fill- obviously the cheaper option for them to fix their mistake. However, Bringing in fill was not feasible because they would have buried our sprinkler system and because they installed the patio INTO the back of our deck stairs, they would have buried our stairs (causing us even more problems) not to mention the city restrictions of bringing in that much fill and the restrictions because of the pond/wetland our backyard butts ** to. It was not a matter of us being unwilling, it was city governances as well introducing new issues. Again- beware of *****, the top notch B.Ser and avoid these liars all together!
