      At the time of the sales appointment,2/14/2023, I was recovering from open heart surgery, 1/26/2023. At the time of the sales presentation I was lead to believe that my 1 1/2 year old 50 gallon hot water tank was sufficient, only to find out it is not. The tub I purchased, in good faith, takes approximately 80 gallons of water to function. I find I run out of hot water at about 2/3 of filling, there isn't enough HOT WATER left to wash your hands. Of course that is not acceptable. I contacted the company and was referred to the contract , which states the Company is not responsible for lack of hot water. I do not contest the contract. My argument is the sales person, Dean B. was aware and not forth coming that the water tank capacity was not adequate. I told them I did not have room to add another water tank. I was told there was a $500.00 discount toward the purchase of an additional tank, which was already deducted from price. I don't see that in the paper work. This discount only, in my thinking, adds to the apparent knowledge that there is not enough water to operate the tub properly. When I contacted the company, on at least 6 different occasions, they only refer me to the contract. I have a very nice product which is totally worthless at this point. This Company has no allegiance to the customer. There was and is no follow up after the sale. JM

      Wonderful installation. Bathroom looks great. Tub works like a charm. Enjoying the many features. My only regret is that I waited so long to do this.

      ******* Q It took 3 months to get Safe Step installed. The tub fills and drains slowly. I like the jets. The seat has no padding and is slippery. I constantly slip and slide, and my whole body goes into the deep end.

      This is a horrible company. From day one I have had nothing but problems with this tub. After having the same issues with this tub for 10 months and still isn't fixed. I am sick and tired of the tub leaking water and flooding out my bathroom. This tub was purchased for my mother who had dementia, needless to say she might have used it 4 times cause of the water flooding out my bathroom and my closet. To spend $25,000.00 on a tub that doesn't work seems like a crime in itself. I have had repairmen out several different times and I am tired of fooling around with them. All they do is give you the run around. I will be seeking out a lawyer into this bs company. Still would like to know why they will not give me the owner's name, number, and email. Very unproffessional!!! DO YOURSELD A FAVOR AND DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER THESE TUBS. NOTHING BUT A HUGH RIP OFF!!!!

      We are sorry to hear that you have been having continuous trouble with a door leak. Your Safe Step Tub comes with a lifetime warranty to address any problem that *** arise. Our service technician tried to make adjustments to your door. Realizing the adjustments to the door did not work Safe Step replaced the door. Concerning your complaint about not giving out the owners personal phone number and home address, it is company policy not to divulge any employees private information.

      Being that all three of us are physically challenged we felt that a walk in tub would be good for us. We contacted the company and on 15 October2020, Mr. John T**** , a representative from the company made the initial consultation. He inspected the premises and everything that would be connected to the installation. He gave us the ALL CLEAR and we gave him a deposit check for $2,500. Approximately two weeks later, the installers came to install the tub. They, too checked pipes and everything else associated with the instllation and they also gave an ALL CLEAR. The tub was installed and everything seemed to be alright until the tub was used the tub. We we used the tub, I used the tub, I discovered that it took an unusually long time for the water to drain out of the tub. It seemed lik it takes fifty forevers for the water to drain. When I reported the problem, a plumber was sent to address the problem. He did not find anything amiss on our end but they never sent him back to correct the problem. Several attempts to contact them were fruitless. When they did answer, they insulted by their request that I pay half the cost to correct the problem that they said was not there. as we were given the ALL CLEAR from each person that the company sent out, I think that it is totally absurd that the company would have the unmitigated gall to ask us to pay half the cost to correct the problem. This has gone on far too long and all I want and need is for them to "DO THE RIGHT THING"and fix the problem. If it were posssible, I would have them come and take the tub out and reinstall my old tub,(Oh, but that's impossible, they broke up my old tub). I am sorely disappointed . disdained, disgusted, disheartened, disillusioned, dismayd with the treatment that that I have received from this company. That is not the way to treat your customers.

      We are very sorry that the customer is having these issues that do not pertain to the installation of the Walk In Tub. As you will see in following paragraph we did go above and beyond to try to help customer fix the issue at hand. It was already apparent to Mr. B****** that his previous tub was slow draining. Before the installation of our Safe Step Tub Mr. B****** had a new ptrap installed hoping this would repair his slow drain. As with all Safe Step Tubs there is a lifetime warranty on the tub. When Mr. B****** reached out needing service due to slow drain time we sent a service technician out immediately. Upon inspection of our Safe Step Tub there was no issue with the tub or drain. After further investigation it was determined that Mr. B******’s plumbing lines bend in several parts of the pipe causing the slow flow. The existing drain goes from 2" ptrap to a 1 1/2" pvc pipe to upward facing a 1 1/2" x 2" 90 elbow to branch the line. This improper use of the ptrap and a reduced size pvc pipe will cause the reduction in flow. We had our plumber do an estimate on the cost to repair the issue, which is not included in our tub installation package. The $875.00 estimate is the cost of enlarging the pvc pipe and correcting the previous ptrap that was installed before our tub was installed. Customer service is very important to us at Safe Step. Even though this is a preexisting issue that we did not know about we did offer the customer to pay half of the quote to help them be able to enjoy their Safe Step Tub. The customer did refuse our generous offer even though this had nothing to do with the installation of the tub. As always there is a lifetime warranty on our Safe Step Walk In Tub.       Would give a zero if we could. We sought Safe Step for a walk in shower for our 90 year old Dad who cannot step over traditional tubs any longer and to reduce the risk of falls for him. Salesperson came to the home and went over the costs and time frame for the installation to happen. Once Dad decided to make the purchase the salesman had issues with his printer and ended up having to email us the docs for him to be able to have a copy for his records. The time frame was stated to be up to six weeks. We still have no product and keep getting runaround about the product delivery date. Product hasn't even made it to the warehouse which we are now being told is in New Orleans, not Tennessee as we were told earlier. It is now almost 3 months past. Safe step has already taken 1/2 the cost from his account which wasn't supposed to happen until install was set up and now Safe step is saying that they still don't have all the pieces to the product. They still haven't given an install date because they don't have all the pieces. Safe Step wants to charge Dad a penalty but they cannot deliver on the product. This is quite frustrating. Dad did nothing wrong but Safe Step is now trying to penalize him and take a large amount if he now decides to cancel the contract. We feel Safe Step has badly communicated with us regarding this entire matter and are taking advantage of this 90 year old man who acted in good faith. Several email communications were sent from us requesting a call or information regarding the case. Shameful, all we get are excuses & we told them so several times. Buyers beware! We wouldn't wish this on anyone else. Looks like we have a battle on our hands to help Dad. This could have been avoided had Safe Step associates handled this situation more professionally. Even the sales manager (Travis Peterson was the name given) said that something was not right because they shouldn't have taken the funds until install date was set. So why did Safe Step take 1/2 of the money from the account not even two weeks later? Why should Dad have to pay for something this company obviously has trouble providing? Makes no sense. As big & reputable a company as Safe Step claims to be this certainly was a bummed up job! How can y'all do this to someone with a good conscience?

      We are sorry to hear that you feel you have had a bad experience with our company. Unfortunately, our country is in the middle of a pandemic that has halted supply chains all over the United States. This is something that we have no control over and wish we could fix. This situation is just as frustrating for us as it is for you. Because the shower is custom made to fit the specific dimensions of your bathroom when the contract is written unless financed, a down payment of at least 30% is required to order the custom-built supplies. This down payment is processed before the order can be submitted. Upon completion of the job the balance due must be paid at installation. When the contract was signed our production team was completing jobs at the 6 week mark that was stated by the sales representative. Unforeseen circumstances due to the Covid pandemic caused our supply chain to be interrupted. Our Sales Manager reached out to offer a $500.00 discount for their inconvenience for the delay of shipment. This offer was declined, and a request was made by the customer to cancel the product order. The Sales Manager explained to the customer about the restocking fee as at this point the product had been custom made and is not returnable. The Sales Manager reached back out to the customer on Monday 7/19/2021 to let them know that the product had arrived and tried to set up an installation date and the customer refused. Once again, we apologize for the unavoidable delay and would very much like to install our walk in shower for your Dad. We hope you will reconsider our previous offer of compensation. His safety is very important to us.
