    I was scheduled for and appointment for body work on my vehicle on 4/25. I drove all the way there and was turned away because all staff was out sick. I finally dropped my car off 4/26 and was told minimum 6 business days of work.For the next 4 weeks I was told a multitude of updates and on Friday 5/19 I was told that they were still waiting on the car to come back from realignment at Parents automotive. I checked my maps since I have my parked cars location, and it was still sitting in their parking lot. I called back the same day to note this and it surprised them since they thought it wasnt there and it appeared that it was scheduled to go for realignment on Monday 5/15 with another car and it never did. I called back for an update on Monday 5/22 and talk to the owner who shared they were still waiting on parts before it could go out for realignment which tells me the parts were never ordered.Thursday 5/25 I get a call that the wrong wheel came in. There were two possible wheel choices for my vehicle and they had check the incorrect option and are reordering another wheel. This wheel needs to come in and go on before it can go out for realignment next week.I am going on 6 weeks without my vehicle and know I have been given dishonest updates and been lied to about its location. I do not have rental coverage and for the first 4 weeks of this ordeal have had to Uber to work (costing me hundreds of dollars). I would like my vehicle back and any compensation or discount for these services since they have cost me an incredible amount of time, money, and stress.

    Master Collision in South Minneapolis was unprofessional, uncommunicative and misleading. I was involved in a hit and run and took my car to master collision as instructed by my insurance company. I was told by my insurance company that I would get an estimate before work was done on my car. I dropped off the car on the morning of 4/19 and was told to sign a form so that they could take a look at my vehicle. The form did not contain an estimate or an amount that I would be responsible for paying. I did not receive a phone call or any updates from them and had to call them late in the day for an update. At which point they told me that the parts were already ordered and that I would not get my car back until Friday. I did not receive an estimate from anyone until 4/21 at which point the work on the car was already done and I was responsible for paying $1000. When I called Master Collision they said that their process was that they don't do estimates and that they just work on the vehicle and since I had already signed the work authorization and the job had been done that I was responsible for paying the repairs. Had I received the estimate beforehand or if the process was clearly explained I would have not authorized the repairs. I understand that I signed the authorization form and that is my fault for not reading the form carefully; However in any other situation in which you would receive a service you are told ahead of time what the cost is so that you can make an informed decision. I did not receive that. This process was at best confusing and was not handled in a professional manner. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere for autobody repair.
