Need to be able to give negative star ratings. We had storm damage to our liner we had several pool companies give us an estimate we liked Advantage Pool but for insurance to pay storm damage and can not repair liner had to be on the estimate ************ absolutely refused to put that on the estimate so we had no choice and had to use another company. We had various problems getting the pool going and again we contacted Advance Pool we hired them to put drop out in the pool once in 2023 we were invoiced for that only but our credit card had several changes for several weeks adding up into the hundreds of dollars with no explanation and never invoiced. We asked Advantage pool to come out and give a quote on a leak they came out I took time off work only for them to waste our time they said we needed to get yet another company to actually detect the leak so they scammed us out of a service call money that day then I called them today 6/25/2024 to give us an estimate on draining and cleaning the pool the lady gave me a quote and was in the middle of scheduling when Brain P got on the phone and said they could not help us and refused any additional services because we used other pool companies! Seriously?? Who doesnt go with the better price and except for the liner and new filter this is absolutely not true then he got extremely rude and hung up on me! I didnt deserve to be treated so rudely I am a customer and no customer deserves to be disrespected as ************ did or literally steal money from me or any customer why would you treat a customer like that? They would have had the leak detection and repair job as well as pool cleaning which they quoted starting at $1100 today he also admitted they charged us several hundred dollars last year and we never authorized and he actually laughed about scamming us! ***** is extremely rude and dishonest. This business should be shut down for falsely charging as well as claiming customers owe money they absolutely do not.Advantage Pool Service, LLC Response

*******************, Below is the email I sent to ***** (the only email we had on file) per your request on the phone detailing the scope of work we did and the charges, though you requested but refused to give your email. Also attached were pics of before and after of every visit we had on your property. Yes, for sure go with the company that has the lowest price, by all means, but please do not beg us to get the information to you quickly so you can get the job started ASAP and ask us do things we do not do without contracts and then do not use us. Your pool is a simple pool, we did not need to spend the time to get exact measurements for ordering to submit to you an simple and accurate quote. We definitely did not need to get the exact measurements for the safety cover (which takes quite awhile, in order to get you an estimate). We had a real connection with **************************** (your father ***be?) and felt like we would do the measuring for him, since he said he wanted to get this "done" ASAP. Additionally we do estimates for storm damage all the time. Additionally attached in that email (and we are happy to submit this to anyone who needs to see) a full statement of all work we have ever done for you and pictures of before and after every cleaning visit. I can send you Geo tracking on the trucks if that is what you would like, as well. The reason I got on the recent phone call, was simply to inform you that we will not be coming to your property for further work. It wasn't until I brought up all the things we have done for you that you decided to "remember" that we had "scammed" you in 2023. If we "scammed" or "stole money" from you last year why were you calling us to do a drain and clen on your pool? I personally would not call to ask a company that is so "rude and dishonest" in the past to come back to my house to do MORE work. Once I told you that we were not coming out again and that we can send you a statement and pictures to prove the work we did, you threatened to have an attorney get involved. At that time I begged you for an email so I could send you the info you asked for, you refused. I ended the call at that time and emailed the only email we have on file (for *****). This is (roughly) what I sent via email on 06.25.24 at 3:25pm:This is what you were charged for: 04.08.22 - assessment/trip fee $80 for identifying you need a sand change (which you declined to do), and motor replacement and new liner. 05.12.23 - measured for safety cover and liner (no charge) so we could get all ready for order. 08.24.23 - filter repair $313.60 for Multi Port Valve and labor. 08.31.24 - could not get you to pay for the $80 (which we invoiced several times) original assessment fee so we wrote it off as bad debt. 09.08.23 - Again because of how nice ******************* was, $80 to stop leak at slide (saw that you had went with another company to order liner after 1hr 20 minutes of time to measure). 09.13.23 - $80 for customer requested onetime **********************, to drop pool out and vacuum onsite. 12:52 - 1:33 and see attached pics. 09.19.23 - $132.44 customer requested one time ********************** onsite from 8:28am-10am and see attached before and after pics. 09.20.23 - $80 customer requested One time ********************** onsite from 4:04pm-5:00pm to hard vac and see before and after pics. 11.01.23 - cust called for leak detection, once onsite we saw that you had additionally gotten a safety cover with another company and asked if we would put it on. We measured and quoted you on one the year before and took the time to measure and quote it then (45mins), so were frustrated that you got another company to get a safety cover for you (it happens, all the time, but time and again, we do not need to keep doing quality and timely work if not appreciated) so, we just told you need to get rest of leak detection done elsewhere. We charged you $80 (not $350, our normal cost) for the suction side pressure test that did not hold pressure (so essentially we did the leak detection for you, or at least found one leak). Please let us know where you were "scammed" or "money was stolen from you". The only thing we did to you that *** have been not to the customers best interest was decline future work from you on the phone call last week.Review from Nathalie Q

I liked this company and spent $4,379.00 within a six month period. Last Thursday October 28th, 2021 I called to get an estimate to fix my pump and close my pool which was going to to be approximately $800 depending on what was wrong with my pump. Brian P**** said I owed 200 from a pool opening on March 12, 2021. I told him I would never open my pool in March and I knew it couldn't be opened because after the winter storm the cover tore and leaves/rain were going in. He said even if they did not get to open it removing the cover counts as an opening. I reiterated I never asked for an opening, maybe for an estimate, and they should have informed me that to remove the cover it will be 200 because if I knew I would have had my friend help me remove the cover. If so, after receiving 1600 at the end of April to replace a liner(which they dropped the ball on and did not order it in due time) and returning at the end of June when the service was finally completed for and additional 1600, why did this not come up? Why wait until I called for a service that would cost me 800 to bill me on something that happened almost 8 months ago. Obviously something was not right. Instead of investigating further, Brian just said, "well you need to find someone else to service your pool". Just like that, which was insulting and offensive. *************** always emails you before they go out with details about the service they are about to provide. On March 12, 2021 they came out for a drain and clean which per the email includes removing the pool cover. This service was not performed because the liner was damaged badly. I used *************** to replace my liner, I could have shopped around but I liked their service and paid 3200. I sent him various emails they sent me confirming that they did not come for an opening but for a drain and clean and requested to speak to a supervisor. I never heard anything back so I called and the lady that answered said, they did not have a supervisor available and Brian would reply to my email. I have yet to receive a response from Brian or a supervisor. It is not cool to deny a customer dishing out $5,100 in a 12 month period service due to a system error. Does the company know he is offending customers and turning away profits like this? Someone please call me.
