We recently had a HORRIBlLE experience with GHP. We found them on ******** and from their pictures they seemed to do quality work. They were going to remodel a hall bath for us. The demo process went seemingly without error and we were confident we had made the right decision. That is where the quality and craftsmanship went downhill. They have no idea the proper way to build, install or finish a bathroom. Everything they did was incorrect. I'll list a few for anyone who may be using them and just don't know what to look for:
Using Greenboard behind tile. This is "acceptable" but is not the industry standard
Improper application of Redgaurd waterproofing
The Schulter shower was installed and had a 3/4 inch gap where the pan met the wall. The owner said they were planning on filling it with caulk.
The floor tile was improperly installed and several have already broke.
They improperly installed vent pipes, venting sewage gas into the walls

When confronted about be the errors they refused to accept any responsibility and kept $11,000,00 of the $15,000.00 deposit.

I hate your experience was so poor. We've never had a situation like this occur. Your review omits several key factors. Your declaration that we have no idea how to properly build a bathroom is laughable. We have decades of experience on our team, and multiple reviews across multiple review platforms from multiple satisfied customers that would disagree.

Greenboard was used in your shower and waterproofed only to achieve a smooth transition from tile within shower and Sheetrock outside of shower. It was waterproofed with Red-guard a fantastic waterproofing membrane. Tile outside the shower was outside the original scope of work , but none the less we were happy to help.

We installed a redi-tile shower pan, again for waterproofing and long term leak assurance. We did not build a pan out of precaution at a significant cost to the company, not to you. Traditional mud pans are cheaper to make Than the redi-tile pan we purchased. No such comment of filing a gap with caulk was made. We install tile with Thinset.

The floor tile was level and the subfloor entirely rebuilt after removing 4" inches of concrete typical with the age of your house.

Vent pipes, we're vented using a product called sure- vent which is acceptable. Vent pipes only became an issue after demolition and the options became rework vent pipes at a substantial cost or use what we installed. We pride ourselves on being mindful of our clients budgets and treating their home as ours. At the time you were in agreement with this solution.

Simply stated the Monday we pulled off our job I was and Still am proud of the work we started and confident we would've completed a beautiful bathroom given the opportunity to finish.

Your comments concerning our refund is where your largest omissions occur. Tile and materials were purchased for an adjoining master bathroom And left onsite at your request along with all the materials for your hall bath. Tile you selected was substantially above the allocated purchase price within our proposal and has a direct affect on our refund. In addition a dumpster, and new countertops were purchased. Other that that labor was paid for at cost as you agreed. GHP didn't profit one cent on your project.
