I parked at **** ******* **. Before I got out of my car I looked around and did not see a no parking sign. 2 hrs later I came out and car was gone I talked to some store owners and they said it was towed *** ** **** **** *** *** **** ** **** ******. I started to look around to see where the no parking signs were and the only one that was partially visible is when you first pull into the parking lot. You are coming off a very busy street and the sign is not clearly marked. Where I parked there was absolutely no sign to be seen. They charged me $30 for dollies but the location was only 7.2 kms and 20 dollars for fuel along with $25 for storage and it was only there for an hour. We were told if we argue with the driver we will not get our vehicle back. When I went there i did not raise my voice but when I was given a $45 parking violation and still got my vehicle towed i was upset and said I will be seeking out advise on this. The tow truck driver tried to say I was not getting my car back. of course I am upset it costed me $265 for the tow and I had no idea there were any signs even coming into the lot it is impossible to notice this. **** ******* ** ******* ** ****** ** ***** **** *** **** **** *** **** ** **** ** *** **** ****** **** ** *** *** **** By the way the lot was completely empty. This should NOT be allowed. So where can I go from here. I took video and you can clearly see there is no visible sign from where I was parked

The feeling of frustration is common when a customers vehicle is impounded for a parking violation. The parking lot at **** ******** **** has several signs throughout the building that indicate that there is no walk away and no event parking. The area is patrolled given that people tend to park and leave the area to other residential areas and/or off premises for days. The tow truck company receives a call when a vehicle parked is in violation. All rules and protocols in regards to patrolling and impounding were followed. The parking lot is for customers only for shopping while at the plaza. Our company charges for dollies, storage, and gas at a lower cost and/or at par when compared to towing companies who provide similar services as our company in the lower mainland. PIctures are taken of vehicles in violation and clearly the customer indicated that they were away from the plaza for at least 2 hours. Parking at the plaza is only for customers shopping for attending a business for services. Thank You.
