I put down a $500 deposit for a top trim PHEV early in January 2023. Got a call mid March that one was available (not my colour of choice). Sales person mentioned that I had to come in to put down an additional $500 if I wanted the car. The following day, I test drove it and found it ok. After requesting an updated purchase offer, the sales person and the manager played their game. After waiting for 20 minutes for the sales person to finally print out an updated offer, the out the door price of the car went up by a whopping 15K from the original offer I put the deposit for. This included unwanted VIP packages, paint protection, etc. It was the most frustrating and time wasting car shopping experience I've ever had. Having had enough of this dealer's deceptive practices, I requested my deposit back. Unbelievably, they didn't have my credit card payment on record! Other competent dealers that I had dealt with in the past had no problems reversing credit card deposits immediately. I had to spend another day bringing back the paper receipt and another day for this dealer to issue a cheque refund. If you like having your time wasted by a dishonest / incompetent dealership, by all means visit this one.
