      Read previous reviews. They schedule you for follow ups without your knowledge, when you aren't actually due for anything, and then try to charge you $140. I thought I was due for replacement punctal plugs, because that would be the only reason I would have scheduled it myself. When I showed up they thought I was there for a vision exam, I told them I did not want the vision exam, I was on a tight budget and I was just there to get the plugs replaced. It turned out I did not need the plugs replaced, they had scheduled me back for a "follow up". If I had known I wasn't due for plug replacement, I wouldn't have came in at all, that appointment never should have been scheduled. I was still 3 to 4 months away from needing top plugs. as I found out. . Then I find out the charge is $140. I thought this was a mixup because I declined to get a vision exam, and the billing person who answered was just so hateful, I'm a good person there's no need to talk to me like she was. The second person was not hateful but at that point I was already upset from talking to the first person. In the end, my insurance didn't allow them to charge me the full $140, but I'm still out of pocket $70+. When I told them I did not need the vision exam, I thought about leaving, but I was still under the impression I was due for plug replacement. I didn't find out I didn't need the replacement until I was in the chair. By then it was too late. She told me I was there for a vision exam because they thought I was due for glasses, but I can choose to not go through them for glasses and they would still see me as a patient for my plugs, I didn't have to do both there. I told her I did not want the vision exam/glasses. Later billing told me I was not scheduled for a vision exam, it was the "follow up" for my plugs, but that does not line up with what two different people told me while I was physically there. I had no issue with the actual doctor, or the man who thought I was there for an eye exam, it was not his fault, he was just going off the chart, and he was so very kind! He made me feel so at ease. Unfortunately, the doctor left the practice that week, and I was supposed to be referred to another doctor, but I will not be returning. The person on the phone tried to throw the assistant under the bus, saying he incorrectly told me I was there for a vision exam but she said he just couldn't understand my chart. The doctor even told me the same thing the man said, is she also incapable of reading charts? No. They were both perfectly intelligent, capable people. This was not their mistake. They schedule you for follow ups without your knowledge, when you aren't actually due for anything, and then try to charge you $140.
