On Thursday Aug 10th, Austin Bryant Plumping employee came out to my house. He checked the clog in my shower and relieved some pressure from the pipe by undoing the pipe in the wall and letting water drain into my basement closet, which i threw towels in and tried to get a bucket to caught the water so that it didn't destroy my water heater. After the shower was drained and empty (the pipes still had water in it though) the employee then started to snake the pipes. He stated that he could not get the snake all the way in due to built up rust and he would have to take the water heater out and drill the concert to change the pipes. Which I had agreed to pay for. We paid for the estimate. On Monday the same employee came back and seen the toilet was clogged. He claimed he called MSD and they stated there were roots in the sewer and that they would actually need to dig up the yard. We agreed with that for the price of $1200. On the day of the appointment Thursday the 17th the company told us they were running late which was 11:00 am. At 3:00 I called to confirm that they were still coming and they ignored my messages and phone calls. After I called about 10 times thats they responded back at about 5:45 and said that they were going to send a guy named ******* I called the guy and he said that he would try to make it to me that night and if not he would call and let me know. He did not call me back and after an hour I called him and he said he would not be able to come. Austin Bryan Plumping left me high and dry. I also have all of the proof of the times I called and texted. Come to find out there were no roots in the sewer. I got my problem fixed but i would hate for this to happen to another family. They have yet to contact me to apologize for standing me up. Also the boss that recommended ****** never came out to evaluate the sewer himself. I was told that the company actually hires their employees even if they do not have a license.
