      I have been trying for several months to resolve an issue. My back sensors go off non stop. I was originally told that I must have hit something and that I would need body work to fix. This from the sales manager (Simon F*****) who was extremely condescending, accused me of lying and walked away while I was still speaking. I contacted the corporate office and was told that Lexus never inspected my car when I brought it in and that it was a safety issue for my back sensors to keep going off. They also told me that my car had been in a minor accident prior to my purchase. I was then told I needed to make another service appointment to have inspected. I took my car back and this time I was told that the sensor brackets were never installed on the vehicle and was told I purchased the car AS IS. I tried to bring up the fact that we were told that the car was a previous certified vehicle and that my car had been thoroughly inspected prior to my purchase. I asked how would I know that something as important as brackets were never installed and why Lexus did not catch this during inspection. Lexus however stood by "sold as is" versus standing behind their vehicles and could not answer my question. They said it would be more than $600 to fix (for a $25 part on their website) even though I bought an extended warranty that would not apply. I am left with sensors that don't work creating a safety issue for me and neither the local branch or their corporate office will do anything about it. It is very shameful for a company like Lexus to make excuses to not cover an issue and to only care about a customer during a sale. I am a long time Lexus customer, but loyalty doesn't matter.

      In shopping for a Lexus nx350h Hybrid and not having any available, the salesman showed us a pre-owned 300h and let us test drive the car while he explained the many features of this 2020 vehicle. When we went to his office to work out the financing and deciding to purchase the car the sales manager came into the cube to let us know that they just sold the vehicle. I was livid that while we were doing research on our own regarding the vehicle and financing, they sold the car right from under us. What a poor way to run a business. I can only hope that this sales manager gets treated the same way with a purchase he wants to make one day like we were treated in not being apologetic in a purchase he is ready to make and the carpet pulled from underneath his feet without be able to make the purchase he wants. I know in today's car market the dealerships have a great advantage over the car buyer but something like this would steer me away from shopping at Lexus of Louisville in the future.

      I am truly sorry to hear of your experience. We strive to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction. With 12 sales people and a internet department selling inventory, it is impossible to hold any inventory while being negotiated are considered. We apologize for your experience and will strive to improve our communications.

      Bought a car (out of state) from Lexus of Louisville and it came off the truck smoking from the tail pipe. It was a 30k car… only 70k miles. The 3rd party delivery driver said that it was smoking when he loaded it up from the dealership lot. Called the manager, they begrudgingly only covered 1/2 of the cost of the oil leak that was causing the smoking. Literally the ordeal took 5 weeks to work out (they refused to pay a dealership here in AL) I had to have it towed to a local mechanic and then they did not return our calls or email. We had to pay $3600 out of pocket before we could ever drive it. Expected so much more from a Lexus dealership.
