ChineseLaundry.com I still have not received my order (2 pair of sandals) from 3/7. I called on 3/14 and all of a sudden I received an email stating my order has shipped. Today is 3/18 and my tracking number still shows label created, *** has not received the package. I called Chinese Laundry again but they insist that the package has been given to ***. Said there is nothing they can do. Said I would have to file with *** but *** says they never received the package. *** says only the shipper can file a claim with them. Chinese Laundry charged my credit card on 3/7. Based on other reviews on this website it seems like this happens quite often at Chinese Laundry. Very poor customer service.

Ordered shoes. Havent received. Cant get a straight answer. Who is running this operation and what could be so difficult unless they dont have the products to fill the orders and just dont care, hoping youll forget. They charge you upon ordering. Most companies dont charge until it ships. SCAM!

This company charged ****** shipping fee and also charged additional return shipping fee ***** for *** worth shoes. It's not a international shipping. It was domestic. Warning people to be careful with this company.

I have purchased items from the company at brick and mortar stores and like the shoes. So when I ordered online I did not expect the unprofessionalism. I ordered a boot that went on sale, got an order confirmation, then the next day they canceled my order without explanation. I then saw the same boot back on the website at $20 higher (sale price removed). I reached out via email and phone and got no reply. Several days later I decided to try ordering them at the $20 higher price. I got an order confirmation. The next day I received a shipping confirmation, then within the hour I received a cancelation for the order that said they sent the wrong message about shipping. They then told me they no longer had the shoe and that their website is a week behind when product is no longer available. What??? I will never order from their site again and strongly warn others from attempting to order. You may not get the product and their customer service is nil.

This company is criminally fraudulent. They take your payments and they lie saying that the order has been shipped (and they have audacity to blame it on UPS or Fedex). I placed two orders on May 10th, 2021 (for $118.70) and May 14, 2021 (for $63.54). I received nothing. No explanation. No refunds. They don't answer my phone calls or emails anymore. At the beginning of my email inquiry as to why the shoes are not being shipped, they were lying about how UPS or Fedex is delaying the process. Since they gave me Fedex tracking no., I called the Fedex. Apparently, Fedex never got the shipment. So, I told the Fedex representative about their lies involving Fedex and/or UPS. How can a business like Chinese Laundry still exist, committing fraud on everyday basis. You can now tell that there are so many victims from the reviews available on-line. They have no conscience. Shouldn't the state of California investigate them for all the fraudulent activities? A business place like Chinese Laundry should be shut down immediately. Even now, these criminals are sending me advertisement emails almost everyday (now HOW SHAMELESS can they be)!
