      This morning I received an email from Thrive Market that a new login was detected using my personal email address.Ive never setup or used Thrive Market. I emailed support, explained the situation and requested the account be cancelled.They told me the only way to cancel the account is to provide additional personal information.Absolutely not!I try to go through their chat - same reply.Considering how sophisticated scams have become I am not comfortable providing personal information for an account I never set up! This is an absolutely absurd cancellation practice.I would really like to speak to someone in their corporate office who can rectify the situation.

      Making it a hassle to cancel is the worst. You can't cancel without contacting customer service. I just spent 18 minutes. First chat I said it was pulling up my account then nothing- It wouldn't allow me to type anything else. 2nd chat the chat window size changed and I could only see half the text. Trying to resize the chat window restarted it. The 3rd said there was an open ticket and they'd email me within 24 hours. It shouldn't be allowed to make canceling this much of an inconvenience!

      You literally cannot cancel your membership. I cancelled the membership a couple of days after signing up. I was charged the membership again this month and they refused to refund it. I called while it was pending at my bank. I cannot delete my account nor can I delete my credit card information. They are simply ripping people off.

      Did you know you are automatically charged $59.99 for a subscription they dont tell you about? Then you cant get it back because you cancel after they take your money and PayPal and credit card says they cant refund you because you didnt cancel before the renewal.. its hard to cancel something you have no idea you are a part of. Thrive doesnt even deserve 1 star

      It's extremely annoying to cancel. There is no option to do it on your account page. You MUST chat or call to cancel. Using the chat, you have to tell the bot to cancel at least twice and then 3 more times after connecting with a human. There is also no way to turn off auto-renew on the account page.On the product side, a lot of the prices are not that different compared to my local store (for example, Thrive offered a product with 25% off, but I found the same product, not on sale, for only 20 cents more at my local store). It's not worth paying for a membership to save 20 cents, plus shipping if my order is less than $50.

      I am filing a complaint against Thrive Market regarding deceptive membership renewal practices and inadequate customer service.In 2022, I made the decision to cancel my membership with Thrive Market. Subsequently, I did not receive any charges for renewal in 2023, which I assumed meant my membership was effectively canceled.However, to my surprise, in 2024, I discovered that Thrive Market had charged my account $59.95 for membership renewal without my consent. Upon contacting their customer service, I was informed that my account had been reactivated because I had visited their website *which I did not do until I saw the charge* or app, despite having canceled my membership previously.This reactivation process was not communicated to me clearly at the time of cancellation, nor was it mentioned in any subsequent communications from Thrive Market. As a result, I was unaware that my account could be automatically reactivated simply by visiting their website or app.Additionally, my attempts to resolve this issue with Thrive Market's customer service proved futile. I encountered difficulties reaching a representative, and the automated system provided limited assistance. Furthermore, the phone number provided for customer support was unresponsive, leaving me without a viable means of addressing the unauthorized charge.Desired Resolution:1. Refund of the unauthorized charge of $59.95 for membership renewal.2. Review and revision of Thrive Market's membership cancellation and reactivation procedures to ensure transparency and clarity for customers.3. Improvement of customer service accessibility to provide timely and effective assistance to customers.**Final Note:**I believe that Thrive Market's actions violate consumer protection principles and warrant investigation by the BBB. I appreciate your attention to this matter and request your assistance in resolving this dispute.

      They make it impossible to cancel your membership! I had an awful and lengthy experience trying to cancel a membership that I never used. Please be warned, don't trust this company. The fact that the only way to cancel is by chatting with a bot, is simply frustrating. They should have a clear pathway to cancel. It feels like they coerce you to keep a membership. THIEVES!

      They automatically refill any order you place with them a month later and charge you. They also charged me for a membership fee that I know nothing about. I did not join Thrive Market!
