The first part of my move was Great. Sergio and his team packed us up very well. From the time Tom Wickmam gave the initial estimate for the local move to include 1 month storage and warehouse handling all was clear and concise. Tom also quoted for the 2nd part of the move to Los Angeles based on 6,000 pounds, all was good. ( Jennifer stated that he was pretty close on his estimates) Then things began to go south when the price increased by over $1400.. Additional Labor charges appeared to be added to the first part of my move when those charges had already been satisfied. After the first part of my move I asked repeatedly for Jennifer to send billing for the second part of the move and was met with many excuses why charges could not be provided. One day before I was to receive my goods I received the inflated charges. I was given the runaround by Jennifer for several weeks thereafter as to why the substantial increase when she previously stated to me that it was based on weight. Well the weight went over by only 100 pounds which should be about $60 per her calculations. To add insult to injury she wanted to deliver my goods a day earlier when I advised her I would not have the keys until 10am the following day, but she had already dispatched the movers to Los Angeles and they were already en route, so she Generously did not charge me for the 2 hours that the movers waited. Also, some of my goods were received damaged and dirty specifically the two chairs that were previously wrapped were delivered unwrapped and dirty. Rear legs broken on the most expensive vintage chair. Already under so much stress on closing my new home, I can't believe that she suggested that I get a storage in Los Angeles to drop my goods so that her moving team could be on there way because I initially did not have access to my home until 2pm the day they were to deliver. What a nightmare! They had my goods, what could I do but pay up and complain later. Little good that did. I would never recommend Silicone Valley Moving to anyone after my horrible experience.

We're sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction. The charges for your move were billed accurately and delivery was on time. Our company went beyond the call of duty by waiving additional fees for our drivers waiting time since there was a delay in closing on your new home. We received a call by you at 4:50pm the evening before our scheduled delivery asking if we could turn our truck around from Los Angeles (nearly 350 miles away from our warehouse) because you did not receive your keys. You were not billed for the 5 hours our crew was on standby while you were closing on your home.

Be honest! I was told I would be informed before the truck left San Jose! None the less, the driver wait time time was 2 hours not 5. My home closed on time, I received the keys only 2 hours later than expected, And I did not ask for the truck to be turned around. Profit over honesty, I get it! Hind sight I would have purchased additional insurance for my damaged goods. May you continue to have a profitable business.
