I have bought 2 desktop computers from this company. Both have lasted less than 2 years. The first one had mysterious software issues that repair techs couldn't replicate. Then the liquid cooler broke. When I got the second one, I hoped it would be better. ****. Within a year or so, the lighting of every single fan they installed no longer works. Now the *** is failing. They also sent me RAM that doesn't work correctly, requiring learning about and digging through the **** to fix.2 separate computers, both full of defective parts. ********* is by far the worst company to buy a computer from.Review from Alex B

Hate to do this, but I would definitely recommend you don't buy from iBuyPower. My experience was terrible and I will never buy form them again. The whole experience started off great. I purchased my computer, got it delivered fast and it worked well for a couple of months. Then, I started having issues with my cooling system and my RGB. That's when I realized that the great customer service, product support and great buyer experience they bragged about was all talk. They would not try to help me fix it or figure out what the issue was. All they offered to do is for me to ship it back to them, at my expense, and they told me if anything was damaged during the process, I would be responsible. I ended up taking it to my computer repair guy and he discovered that one of the parts they used was defective. Turns out, the part they used was known for having issues and it was not a good part. When I called and asked if they were able to issue some sort of credit if I sent them the repair order invoice, they told me there was nothing they could do. I spent over $4,000 with them, had the product for 2 months and it already had issues. They offered a very unrealistic solution (shipping alone would've cost me double what the repair cost me) and told me to kick rocks when I told them I would not buy from them again. Shop somewhere else.Review from Joe G

Also bought a PC from them spent $2300. It worked one month I paid $120 there after to send it in for repair to them which they immediately denied my repair then went on to let my computer sit there warehouse for over a week before they sent it back to me untouched and still broken, Ive since replace the power supply in it because theres was junk and its currently sitting at ************ being repaired by actual professionals who know what theyre doing. Ive tried contacting the company numerous times and they are very rude and give zero help or any sort of customer service it is pointless to buy anything from them if it works thats fine but if it dont, they will not honor the repair.Review from Jeffrey C

I purchased a pre build from IBP on 2/28/24. It said it would be delivered on 3/6. I called on 2/5 to follow up and they told me it hasnt left the warehouse and they dont know why it didnt ship out. They promised it would still arrive on 2/6 because I was in the same state.I took the day off to sign for it. It did not arrive so I was forced to take off the next day. The pc came but there was a plethora of issues.Liquid cooling radiator covered in thick dust.Fans all covered in dust Motherboard missing s**** Ram slot broken missing the lock in mechanism.Motherboard had sticky goo on it.Gpu fan made ticking noises I plugged in monitor and keyboard and mouse and it didnt work.I didnt get the paperwork it was supposed to come with it.The packaging was awful and they clearly didnt check the system to make sure if worked properly. This company IBP is a pile.Customer support is quick to give you your money back and unwilling to apologize and take responsibility and fix the issue. This company has no accountability and 99% of their reviews on ****** are bots they paid for. That should be illegal.I will not ever buy from them again.Review from Andrea G

Sent a broken PC that was put together wrong and THEN tried to claim it was damaged in shipping which clearly isn't true. Obviously, they are building PC's very half-hazardly and when something inevitably goes wrong they can just claim it was damaged by *** and claim the insurance.I'm not even sure if the way this company is operating is legal?Review from Joseph C

Long story as short as possible. I order a ** from them on Dec. 29th, 2023 . I have always built my own but I finally decided to treat myself with a prebuilt. Big mistake.I received the computer on January 4th. The computer came with a number of issues. Would not POST/Overheating. Emailed IBP and got a RMA number immediately.I emailed IBP on January 16th as I hadn't heard anything. IBP (******) responds on January 17th and says it will be at least a week and a half to receive the refund.Today, January 24th...I give IBP a call and talk to ************ I let him know they received the unit on the 11th and we are two weeks out from that tomorrow. After a long hold, ********* comes back and lets me know that there is an issue and that they have marked the computer as being returned with a different GPU than they sent it with. However, no one called me about this. No one emailed me. I've been waiting all this time and that issue (that they created themselves) wasn't relayed to me until I called today. This is literally impossible from my end. I have no other GPU to give them. They sent it with a Ventus ****. That is what it was returned with. I sent ample video/pictures of the machine (which showed the ***** Why would I do that and then try to switch it? It's just nonsense IMO.This is a bad showing all around for IBP. It seems like no one knows what they are doing there as far as I can tell.I had the ** in my possession less than 24 hrs and they have had my money for a month. If you want a DOA computer, be accused of swapping parts, and have them hold your money forever....definitely buy from these guys.Review from Devan B

Stay far away from iBuyPower. I bought a prebuilt Y60 in September 2023. After just one month, conveniently right after the return window, my pc started crashing constantly. Customer support said it was a defective *** which I could pay in advance for a replacement to get it sooner and get a refund when they get my defective one. Fast forward 3 weeks and the *** finally comes in, today actually 11/21/23. Get it set up and the pc is still having the same exact issues. Now customer support is saying its either the motherboard or the **** I have to send the whole pc in to get diagnosed and repaired now, won't have it returned to me for another 1-2 months. To recap, I'm out over $2000 for a trash pc that kicked the bucket after just 1 month and will literally be without a pc for more than half the time I've owned it.Review from Dustin F

Purchased a 'NEW' machine from iBuyPower back in August 2022, so its been a year and about 2 months at this point that its been in our possession. In that time frame we had a graphics card quit, which THEY diagnosed, and now just yesterday the motherboard failed... The ** was replaced, due to the parts warranty still being in place, but now we only have the 3 year labor warranty, which means we still pay for shipping and parts... Which we are NOT going to pay to ship the rig back and forth to them (not cost effective and risky), and they wont touch another thing, period. They misdiagnosed the first issue, and at this point we suspect they built this 'new' machine with at the very least a refurbished MB. They will never see another cent from us. We called and were told ASUS had a 3 year warranty on the MB, they do not, so why would they lie, outside of trying to **** us off onto ASUS, and not wanting to deal with their own mistakes. Pretty sure at this point we had a bad MB the whole time, regardless of it was new or refurbished, and that caused the failure of the ** earlier on. Now we are down a computer and do not have funds to repair, to boot this is a rig for business, so they left us dead in the water. DO NOT RECCOMEND business with this sham of a company. May they go under swiftly for these shady business tactics. Seems we aren't alone either in this view, take a hint, and spend your money elsewhere!Review from Jr L
