      We're in the military, so this is for military people thinking about using this company. We worked with ******, we told her of our military status, and that our vehicle will be on the base at a friend's house, because we had to report to our next duty station and wouldn't be there with the vehicle. ******, the representative said that was fine. We gave her the address, scheduled a pickup date window. On the day of the pickup, the trucking company contacts us, explaining he can't get on the base, and could we have someone bring the vehicle outside the base, none of which was told to us was going to happen, and when we tried to contact ****** by phone, she wouldn't answer our call. We did get a text from her, telling us about a conversation that NEVER took place, she was untruthful. So if you're in the military and have to do a conus move, think twice before using this company. Seems like they will say anything to get your business, which is very unfortunate

      Do not trust this company or any company associated with it!!I had my car shipped September of this year from ********** to ******** thru Global Auto Transportation with driver (***********************). I worked with KJ who was virtually useless and not accommodating. While the turn around time was great (less than 5 days) and the price was reasonable. when my *** arrived to my location not only was it FILTHY but it had several scratches and indentations on my driver side door which WERE NOT there before. All the driver had to say was "things happen in transit" while also trying to bribe me! If that is the attitude your company is okay with having while having possession of others property, no one should ever utilize your services. Horrible practices and business models!!! Almost 3 months later and they still have not fixed and taken fault with my vehicle! Forget going thru their insurance, it is a joke. Reporting this company to the BBB. GO ELSEWHERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE!

However, as our company operates as a broker service we cannot assume responsibility for your issues with the carrier that shipped your car. Unlike what your review entails, we have it on good authority that our representative KJ was with you every step of the way. In addition, he gave you plenty of advice on how to handle the driver and his attitude towards all the scratches your car accumulated, such as not signing the *** nor paying the driver. Both points which you clearly disregarded. Additionally, the fact that he went above and beyond to do research on your available options does not warrant such a poor review of aggressive nature. Sorry again and good luck.

      I had a great experience with Global auto Transport!KJ really helped me out when another company (**********************) really screwed me over and did not pick up my car as promised.I told him the situation the car had to be picked up at a certain time because i had a flight to catch.He made a call to A1 Cycle towing ******* and with in ***** minutes he called me back to let me know they could pick up my car in ********** **. in 2 hours. ***** came out to pick up the car and was very helpfull with everything. What a great guy. The car was delivered as promised.Also KJ did not charge me untill the next day after pick up. I would definitely us these guys again.

      We had a great experience booking a driver for our boat with Art Z. Was very impressed with the customer service we got and also with the driver that they got to transport our boat. This company stated their price and that is what we paid. Art Z. had a driver the same day. The driver who came to pick up the car was experienced and professional. I will be using them for any car and boat transports in the future. Heard horror stories about auto and boat transporters but we had a positive experience and Art Z. Stayed in touch even after our boat was transported, now that is customer service.

      Thieves!! This is a criminal company who does not have any customer service skills and steals your money! They do not honor their own policy. Fraud!! Legal action is being taken against this company! Beware! Save all documentation!

      We had just bought a brand new car in Denver, CO were able to drive it for a week and had to head back to Boston, MA. So we booked Global Auto Transportation (GAT) for the job. We have never shipped a car and I was very skeptical from the beginning. They picked the car up on the scheduled day 8/4 between the scheduled time 9-12. They said it would be delivered 8/9 which was reasonable. When we got word it would be delayed till 8/11 we were understanding. We reached out on 8/10 for an update and a time slot for the next day delivery and found out the delay was because the truck broke down, which from other reviews they like to say a lot. Driver said they would call and give an update. He never did. We got a call the morning of 8/12 still without and word from the driver and is now even more delayed. The truck DID NOT break down the driver hit a poll and our BRAND NEW car was damaged. The man on the phone had no other information. Didn't know how bad it was, no pictures etc. just said we have insurance and when you get the car just call them and file a claim. Like it's no big deal. Finally I asked when will our car be here, he said today. We have never heard anything from the driver of what happened, where our car was or when it was coming. So to say today without any heads up to plan our day around it made me want to scream. As I sit here waiting for the driver to contact us about ANYTHING I am 9 months pregnant and all I know is our new car is damaged, potentially totaled. They have no care in the world, they lied to us and have still not communicated anything to us. Let's not forget how hard it is to get a car right now also, so thank you GAT for proving my skepticism to be true. NEVER WILL WE USE THEM AGAIN. We have a lot of friends who ship cars and will NEVER RECOMMEND them. You should reconsider also. Will update on how badly they damaged it and gave us the run around once i know more. Wouldn't be surprised if it's a few more days at this point.

      DO NOT BOOK WITH GLOBAL AUTO TRANSPORT!!!!!! UNPROFESSIONAL w/ BREACH of CONTRACT! On 4/23/21, I contacted Global Auto Transport (GAT) to obtain a quote for shipment of my car from NY to WA. I worked with GAT to obtain a quote and was quoted $1,675 for door-to-door shipment with pick-up date of 6/25 - 6/28. To hold my reservation, GAT required me to sign a contract and provide my credit card information. I electronically signed the contract with GAT and provided my credit card info. On 6/23, I reached out to GAT via phone to determine the exact time of vehicle pick-up as I had not heard from anyone in the company since I signed the contract. I did not receive any phone calls back from the company despite leaving numerous voice messages. I then emailed the company and finally received a response and was told that the pickup date was now 6/28- 6/30. On 6/28, I did not hear from GAT so I gave them a call. I spoke with GAT again and explained my disappointment with the company as they were not communicating appropriately with me but rather, I was the one having to call them multiple times just to get an update. A rep from GAT stated that he would investigate the situation and would call me back to give me an update. He never called me back. I called back later that day and the same rep stated "...the transport truck broke down but don't worry we will have someone pick up your vehicle no later than 6/30". The next day, on 6/29, I called to inquire about the pick-up details as no one from GAT had called to update me. The rep then proceeded to give many excuses. He first started off by saying that the transport truck was still broken. He then proceeded to change the story to say that "We no longer have someone to pick up your vehicle because the price we signed the contract with you in March is no longer the price we can pay the driver." He then ended with saying, "I don't have someone to pick up your vehicle by tomorrow". Of course, at this point, I was upset because 1) He and GAT had poor communication with me and failed to communicate changes in price ; 2) He had lied about the transport truck being broken; and 3) This is not the type of news one wants to hear the day BEFORE a cross-country move (my family and my plane tickets were non-refundable at this point). I explained all of this to the rep, but he had no empathy and rather counter blamed me for signing a contract with GAT so early (I've done several cross country moves and know that planning early is a good thing). He then emailed me later and said that he was working on still picking up my vehicle. I never hear from the GAT rep since that last email (last email was 6/30 and today it is 7/28) Long story short, my family and I left our vehicle in NY but luckily in a few days we found another transport company. However, we ended up spending $700 more than what we had budgeted due to the lack of responsibility and poor business practices from GAT.

      Art was absolutely wonderful! Global Auto Transport got us our vehicles much faster and less expensive than several other transport companies. Art was easy to communicate with and was always available for questions. I highly recommend Art and Global Auto Transport.

      I am disappointed in my experience with this company!
      I shipped my car from MD to FL, and the entire process was very difficult. My car was picked up a day late which is understandable, however the customer service rep Paul was very inconsiderate. He repeating over and over again "this is a business on wheels and it's not our fault". This should have been explained during the booking process that the pickup date is flexible rather than guaranteeing a date.

      The worst part is that this company contracted a driver with ABA Logistics. This company overcharged us for having items in our car (mind you we were not able to be with our car during the pickup because it was picked up late so we could not remove items from our car). This company did not answer the phone, they delivered two days late (total of three days late including the delay in pickup), the owner of ABA yelled at me and told me to never call them again after simply requesting a timeline for when our car will be delivered, and hung up on us. The driver from ABA called and said he "forgot to drop off our vehicle and he's sorry about that", this was the first apology I received throughout this whole process.

      When requesting some sort of discount from Global auto transportation for our inconvenience, we were reminded that it's not in their control and not their fault. The lack of sympathy and respect from this business was astounding and disappointing. They should not contract with companies that treat customers so badly. I definitely would advise to not use this company unless you want unnecessary stress during a cross country move.
