On August 16, 2024 my air conditioner quit working. I called Pioneer to come look at it. They sent a tech out on Monday the 19th. It ended up being the run capacitor on the outside unit. The capacitor cost on average from ** * *** from any local supply house. I was charged **** for the capacitor and then *** for the service call. On Tuesday I called Pioneer to see if there was a mistake made on the charge, giving them the benefit of the doubt. I was told the HVAC manager would return my call either later that day or the next. I have heard nothing from the company now 4 days later. Pioneer has basically committed ******* ******* * *** ** ***** I will never refer anyone to them for any reason. They are a bunch of crooks. I had a service plan for my HVAC with Cook’s Comfort, Cook’s partnered with Pioneer , I received a letter informing me that Pioneer would honor my service plan, with Cook’s the tech came twice a year did the service automatically, in June I realized I had not gotten service and called Pioneer, I informed that I had to call to arrange my service visit and the first visit available was the end of August, my service was supposed to be for the spring, I requested a partial refund of my service plan, was told that they would give me a refund, it has been a month and no refund, I called Pioneer a couple of times and got the run around, never being able to talk to a billing person, once the person told me “they are not answering the phone”!, this is the worse customer service, I wonder how many Cook’s service plans they pulled this fraud on, do not use this company for any reasonReview from joe c

Pioneer is dragging their Ass repairing the HVAC system at parents house. Going on about 7 or 8 weeks waiting for them to get parts. Repairs the made last year failed and this killed the system. They say they only get there parts from one company, That is just plain stupid for them to do. I expect a large discount because of the delay. There website says 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. I rate there service at a negative 100% I am not satisfied at all!Review from joe c

Last summer I had 2 seperate repairs on the same HVAC system. This spring the same repairs failed agan. I feel I should not have to pay labor costs and freon costs to have the unit fixed again. The coil in the outside unit is going to be replaced, with warranty paying for the coil. I paid labor for them to repair it last year, but their repair failed. The compressor failed last year and the compress cost was covered by factory warranty and I paid labor. The compressor failed this spring, part will be covered by warranty. Had their repair on the coil last year not failed and burned this compressor out. They want me to pay labor again. They also charge double for their freon cost compaired to other companies. They aay 100% satisfaction on their web page, they are negative 100% with me.Review from Stacy C

I had set up an appointment for a furnace and air conditioning. The appointment was in the morning but they show up in the afternoon. They checked out my furnace and air conditioner and told me I had loose wire. When i turn on my ac and it did not work. So i call them back that night when i found out it will not turn on. I was told by this company they will be out first thing in the morning around 8am. At 10am I called them back and i was told that they will not be able to come back around 1-5. So then i notice they try to call me. At this time it was around 1:30pm. When I called them back i was told by Missty that they will not be out to fix my problem with the air conditioner and for me to call someone else. Because they was late both times for the appointments. This company treats new customers like this how do they treat others customers.Review from Gale A

When new ****** heat pump was installed in winter, technicians told us that a second trip would be required in summer to get the Freon charge correct. Called three times and appointments were made but no one ever showed up. Now, a year later, when the pump reverses to thaw the accumulation of ice on outside unit, there is a loud electrical pop in the inside unit followed by an electrical burn smell inside. Pioneer was informed, they gave me an appointment, they never showed. A complete scam.Review from Ray W.

Pioneer came to our church and replaced a water cut off value. Two days later the value was leaking. I had another plumbing company to replace the leaking valve and called Pioneer to inform them of the situation and question what I considered to be a very high price for the poor job performance. I called nine times over a week and a half requesting the plumbing manager to call me. During that time the manager called me twice. I was inform there was nothing they could do for me.Review from Douglas D

During last summer I had Pioneer Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, LLC, analyze my problematic HVAC system, which they very professionally, clearly, and in detail. I had them install a new HVAC unit. The unit has worked great ever since. During the whole process, I found that Pioneer had outstanding HVAC expertise and performance. I am more than satisfied with their results. I will definitely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone else.Review from Danny N
