**** **** **** ***** **** **** ** **** ************* ** * ************ **** *** *** ******* * ***** my vehicle was taken by them because I wasn't present due to be away from the country, when someone hit my parked car on a street, and because they have a contract with the Peel Police they towed my vehicle to their yard, and once they do that it is a nightmare to get it back, and how long stays in there, your bill will be astronomically high. They will try anything to keep your vehicle as long as they can. ****** **** *** **** *****.Paid to $85.00 x 12 days + $400 tow + taxes $1,604.60...$400.00 towing charge for 6.9 km 10 mns drive...And tried to get me asking if I was going with the insurance. I told her yes, but not with them. I had my car towed by Lyons Autobody on OCt 26th following an MVA. The driver seemed very nice. I was given a copy of a form that stated I authorized a tow on AFTER the car was at their yard. It has been 2 weeks and John L. is not answering emails or calls from my insurance company or myself. We get transferref to Johns voice mail and he never calls. As of now, there is a civil suit pending, instigated by our insurance company. Lyons is well known in insuarance circles for holding cars so they can get more money for impound fees. Today I was contacted after I called the police. *************** My Car was *****n and recovered by police and was towed to LYONS Auto Body. July 30, 2021 9AM I gave them the Vehicle Release Slip from Peel Regional Police and was able to see the car again after it was *****n. It had my 20inch rims and tires and my complete set of weathertech mats. Little did I know this was the start of a horrifying ordeal. I then immediately contacted my insurance that the vehicle is ready for pick up. I gave them a few days to sort out the paperworks but when it was almost a week I called my insurance for an update, LYONS is charging exorbitant amount of storage and admins fees to my insurance for the release of my vehicle. So the longer the vehicle is with them, the higher they can charge for all sort of fees. They basically held the car hostage! This dragged on for 2 weeks and finally my insurance was able to pick it up on the morning of Aug 13 2021. I instructed them to drop it off at ***** downtown where I was waiting to see the car. Guess what? LYONS ***** my rims and tires which cost me $3600 and swapped it with bald tires and dented old rims. They also ***** my driver, passenger and trunk weather tech mats. I called LYON right away and spoke to John and explained the situation thinking it might just be a mixed up, he explained they have nothing to do with it ( no surprise there ). I filed a police report ************* and when the police called LYONS with all my photo evidence , they said there was a mixed up as there was another vehicle with the same color on their impound lot. Regarding the complaint from Mr.A. We addressed his concern within less than 24 hrs of receiving his initial email to us. This was simply a mix up of multiple vehicles that were stolen and recovered in sea containers. ************ multiple pictures of other vehicles in the state they arrived in with mismatched wheels, and the invoice from **** stating that they were suspended in the air with wheels removed. This was a complete nightmare that took some time to sort out due to the mix up by **** and the logistics company.

Everybody knows LYONS wants to take care of their bank account than their customers car! OH you cant just get away with "its just simply a mix up. My rims, tires, floor mats were still on the car while I was checking it on your impound lot. All you had to do was open the gate and have my insurance tow company tow it. Heck LYONS even took my aftermarket LED head lights and replaced it with old halogens ones. somebody would have made a quick buck with those! And not to mention when I first saw the car with different rims and tires right after it was dropped off at honda downtown, I called LYONS right away and Johns first question was " where are you calling from". Bet you did not expect I was waiting for my car did you?One more thing, the owner of LYONS called after a few weeks and explained to me "they are too big of a business " to be engage in this kind of nefarious activity, offered to take care of my insurance deductible cost by mailing a cheque. no cheque came. Cant really expect anything from a company thats been making money out of peoples misery.Lyons Autobody Ltd Response
