Do not use this company if you are expecting them to meet a deadline - even if they say it is guaranteed - their word means nothing. We had a very important job for a government agent - and they needed it for an event on the Saturday - we paid extra for it to arrive on the Thursday in plenty of time. I chased all day on Thursday and was told I would get an escalation expert to call me, by the time I got an answer on the Friday they tell me it won't be delivered until Tuesday! Days after the event losing us (a small business) thousands of dollars. And ruining our reputation with this government agency that would have given us plenty of repeat business.There is escalation agent M*** refused to come to the phone all day Friday not being willing to update me or my client on the chaos.They offered me $100 refund - which doesn't cover the shipping, the product or the loss of reputation. #AvoidReview from FQ Customer B

We recently shipped a crate through FreightQuote that included very specific delivery services of arriving with a flatbed truck and forklift to unload a crate to a residential address. The crate was delivered without the requested services leaving me with an unhappy client as they had to drag a 700 lb crate into their garage after being up-charged for the special services. Obviously we needed to give this client a partial refund as the services were never provided. After going back and forth with the rep about this, they wanted to charge us drastically over the market rate of that shipment. The rep finally emailed me a revised amount to be charged, but we never received an official invoice for the services provided. We then get a charge on our card for higher than the agreed upon rate per the rep's ****** I emailed the rep about this overcharge to which I still have not received any response. I disputed the difference in the rate the rep gave us in email and the rate we were charged through our credit card company. I then received an unpaid invoice email from accounting department for the disputed amount. I replied back that we have not received a revised invoice as of yet and we were charged more than what our rep quoted us in ****** I included the email from the rep showing the quoted amount. I also requested that they remove our credit card information from their system and it was not to be used anymore. The next day(today) we see an unauthorized charge on our card for the disputed amount without any response from either the rep or the accounting department. We still have yet to receive an official invoice for the shipment and services we actually received.BEWARE of this company as they will charge your credit card without your authorization and provide little to no communication or response to difficult situations.Review from James K

***** - I asked to ship some printers to TN from ** via Freightquote. I filled out the software information fields as accurately as I could with the items that would fit on two pallets. The first driver I was contacted by was not only late, but failed to communicate any deviation from scheduled pickup and later bailed on the pickup. The second driver who attempted contact was more helpful in educating me on the process and helped me get the printers on board and shipped. I paid my quote and the shipment completed without error HOWEVER. Several weeks after the fact I received a blindsiding charge for over $1,000 of new costs claiming they were up charging me for a weight charge. I never consented to this, this was a deceptive move and Ive told all departments Im not paying. The shipment was weighed and shipped without me ever consenting to a new price. Had the company notified me of the new price I wouldve happily taken delivery of a return. Instead they proceeded without consent then expected me to pay for it.At no point was it ever furnished to me about the process - the company attempted to cite some fine print in T&C but I found that weak, dishonest, and a strong arm attempt to get me to pay. Theyve attempted to offer me a credit but Im not interested. Deceptive practices like this are WRONG.Review from CP

I used FreightQuote to book a shipment. Our customer requested that the shipment be billed to their *** account. I booked the shipment thru ** and our **** **************************** said that he would call *** directly after the booking to make sure it was billed to our customer correctly. This was in September.It is now November and I have received multiple emails from **'s billing department telling me that this invoice is past due. They never billed our customer. Come to find out, they don't do that because as it was condescendingly explained to me today, "As a broker, we would not normally book a shipment for a customer that is not to be billed to Freightquote because we wouldnt make any money on the shipment if it wasnt invoiced to Freightquote. If you think about it, why would Freightquote want to book a shipment they were not to make any revenue on? That just doesnt make any sense." Got it. Well, to make this situation easiest for MY customer, I decided to pay the freight **** of $295 in full on their behalf. As a very small company, that really hurts. I'm not sure why our rep didn't tell me this at the time of booking. Regardless, the ** rep that I dealt with today, *****************, took a months long conversation between my warehouse and me and copied our customer on it. When I brought it to his attention, he did not acknowledge or apologize. Yes, obviously I'm venting but I also want others to be aware of this. As someone who is new to freight shipping, I wanted to work with a well known logistics company that could knowledgably guide me through the process. Not only was my order handled inappropriately and we lost money but my private conversation was released to a customer that had no reason to see it. Quoted $200, charge my card for an additional $814.22 without my permission. FQ's rep said they had no control over their 3rd party carrier's extra charges. I would stay clear of this company! I would give them a negative star if it was possible.Review from Christopher H

They let you put in a bid for shipping boxes, but their suppliers won't actually ship more than a few boxes. Instead of saying they do not offer that service, they charge your card and wait for you to call in after the movers do not show up or call.Review from Scott M

Quoted $400, charge my card for an additional $500 without my permission. FQ's rep said they had no control over their 3rd party carrier's (*****************) extra charges. I never had this trouble with *****. I hope they are proud of that ill gotten $500 because its the last they'll get from my company!"
