    We used rubber rooster for one of our largest hardscape builds. They were a month late in delivery, sent us the wrong product, tried to cover up the fact it was the wrong product by putting their own label on it and when confronted about it went to MY client unannounced and talked with him to get his approval. We, both myself and my client, were not happy with what we were forced to install due to a massive and non-reschedulable event. We were offered not a single "sorry" or we will make this right... nothing other than "I looked at it and it's not that bad." Completely unprofessional, unethical and simply poor business both before and after their mistake. Now, 6 months later they have decided to bill us another 3k. Beyond belief. This company will do you wrong. I suggest you go somewhere else. Literally anywhere.

    Mr. Harris – There are always 2 sides to every business transaction. That said, yes, we were 1 month late on a hard deadline for your customer (we were as frustrated as you). We take full responsibility for missing the deadline and for causing the ill will that occurred. Which is why we substituted an alternate product on a rush basis. We didn’t try to pass it off as our own product…it was a last-ditch effort to rescue the job at the expense of any profit on the part of Rooster Rubber. Due to the immediacy of the situation, the owner made an impromptu site visit with the intention of offering a remedy to you and your customer. Upon arrival at the site, he got permission from the end user to inspect the rubber mulch. Upon inspection we determined that the alternate product did not meet our standards. At that point, we offered to sell the alternate product at cost or replace it with the higher-grade product. At the end of the day, the end user accepted the delivered product. The agreed upon solution was for your company to pay for the delivered amount of product at cost (May 1, 2023) and not to exchange for the higher-grade product. The amount invoiced is what you agreed to pay back in May. Yes, we’ve not only forfeited any profit, but gave you additional time to pay. Being a small business just like yours, we understand the challenges of meeting deadlines and building goodwill with our customers and prospects. It’s never our intention to do less. Please call our office and we'll be glad to work out a solution with you.
