This has been a hot mess to deal with. We are at closing and the wrong package has been sent 3 times and the wire hasn’t been sent. It has been nothing short of a circus experience for us as 1st time home buyers. They call ?? you and make all these promises and do not deliver. The story keeps changing over and over. Est. remaining mortgage The total balance left to pay off your mortgage. It is the reason to not to trust Zillow. It is totally lie to public and should be addressed to the law. If it have to be published should be updated regularly before posting to the public. It is disgraceful and untrue informations.Review from ARLENE F

They made or actually insisted I pay for inspection and liens checks even before I was excepted into the HOA and then told me that I can’t get any of my money back .unethical practices .please donot let people these people in Zillow help you with finding a home . I received a 3 pre-approval letters after submitting all of the required documents. I made the deposit for the home and also paid for home inspection. Then I was denied the loan but never received my denial letter. I requested the denial letter and John Mirabel has blocked me from sending messages .Dan his manager has verbally discussed with me that I was denied the loan. John the loan officer has also deleted the pre approval letter from the email. But luckily I screen shotted them to send to realtors. If I can add photos I will as proof. I will never recommend Zillow for anyone , P.S.John told me to make deposit and to do the home inspection before he denied me the loan.Review from Paul D

I love how we punish and care little about a customer's experience today. My credit was pulled at least 3 times by your site even after a pre-approval of 185k. This is has caused me to only qualify for 175k now and it is getting lower now. It doesn't seem to matter because it was not you or your company. I cannot get the time back or the suffering this has caused. I hope no one else will experience how bad I feel right now. We really do not matter.Review from Ken C

After getting " pre-approved" for a loan, we were bombarded with requests for information every few days for weeks and did not receive a final approval until just days before closing. This caused a lot of stress and frustration. After we were in the new home for about two weeks we were again bombarded with requests to set up an appointment to have the house appraised.Our primary contact with Zillow was friendly and helpful, but there seems to be a lot of confusion and lack of coordination between Zillow staff and/or departments. We would never use Zillow again.

This loan required a desktop appraisal which was initially verified as a traditional appraisal. A desktop appraisal provides a value that uses tax records; however, a property sketch is required, and the appraiser is required to go into the property to take measurements. This was explained to the borrowers. We also explained that we would work to accommodate their schedule. I saw an ad on Zillow by Zillow saying that they can do a pre approval without hitting my credit. And made me fill all my personal info including my ssn. At the end I didnt get anything but a call saying that they cannot do the prequalification letter without hitting the credit. It is very much illegal and fraud taking all the personal information from people through false advertisement.Zillow Home Loans, LLC Response

My experience with Zillow loans had been excellent. My loan ******** ********************** was exceptional. ****** was highly engaged throughout my entire loan process. My husband and I have purchased and refinanced numerous properties and by far ********************* made this transaction seamless and extremely easy. He was always available to answer any questions and communicated with us very regularly. We will be using ****** on our next purchase because we were so satisfied with the high level of customer service he provides from the initial call to close!Review from Cynthia D
