Tried to cancel my insurance with traders 4 days before the billing cycle renewed. I called them and they told me that a bill had already been generated for the new billing cycle and even if I canceled my insurance I still will be charged for the upcoming month regardless if I had a car insured with them or not. Save yourself some headaches and give your business to some other Insurance company.

We are not insured through Trader's. A person insured by Trader's is the person at fault. The service provided by Trader's has been extremely poor. Despite my car being in the body shop for over three weeks, Trader's has yet to approve the necessary parts for repair, leaving me without a car. I was not offered a rental vehicle and have had to endure significant stress and inconvenience as a result. I have attempted to contact the adjuster and his supervisor multiple times but have not received a response. For a company that markets themselves as customer-oriented and family-friendly, it is unacceptable that their claims process is so slow. The repair should have only taken a maximum of a week, but it has now been over three weeks. It is frustrating that the hold-up is due to Trader's approval for original Audi parts instead of using rebuilt or aftermarket parts, which I refuse to accept. Despite being not at fault and possessing the necessary accident report, I am left inconvenienced and frustrated. Overall, the service provided by Trader's has been unacceptable and has caused significant stress and inconvenience.

My name is Shelby A*******, and I was involved in a car accident on November 7th, 2023. I have full coverage and was hit by an insured driver, who provided false insurance info, so I had no choice but to go through my policy, and it has been an absolute NIGHTMARE ever since. Here is a timeline of the events. As of today, I still have not heard anything back about my vehicle, my voicemails are being ignored and I am still without a car! The accident occurred on 11/7/2023, and I made a claim on my policy on Thursday 11/9/2023, once I realized the other party gave fake Progressive information. My first adjuster was Tara, who was very pleasant and helped me with what she could before my claim was sent to the Uninsured Motorist claims dept. This is when I was placed with Devon who has the worst communication skill ever. He did not respond to any calls or emails for WEEKS leaving me clueless and carless. I was told my vehicle would be transported from Big Boys Towing in Ballwin , Missouri to Copart Towing located in Bridgetown, MO. My vehicle wasn’t transported until days later, and once Copart got it, an adjuster came to look at it. I was told the damages were roughly $6,000 and my car was transported to South County Dodge and Jeep. Copart did not even tell the dealership they dropped it off so my truck was sitting for days before being found. This is where it gets even messier. Fast forward to February 2024, I was told one of the tow yards DROPPED MY TRUCK from the forklift causing more damage! My claim was transferred to the Property damage dept and the damages are over $20,000. I was given Chris Serrano’s info from Laura Ogden (Total loss dept) and I have called and called and left a voicemail and have not heard from anyone! I am still paying a car note AND INSURANCE on a vehicle I haven’t seen in months! This is the absolute WORST company ever! And I literally can’t do anything until I hear from them. SOMEONE please!! Help me! This is so unacceptable and rude!

As someone that works in customer service and is extremely patient and understanding with customer service agents, this is some of the worst service I've ever had. It's almost to the point where I feel scammed. My vehicle was broken into on Saturday and was towed. I called Trader's Roadside Assistance, who recommended me the place to tow my car at. They towed my car and I assumed everything was going to be taken care of from there. On Sunday night, the place that they towed my car to was broken into and they stole my key fob. The towing company then towed it to their shop instead to prevent further break ins. Originally, when I got the call from my agent (after three days of reaching out), he called the wrong person and said that he meant to talk to someone that would've been quicker. It was frustrating. When I confronted him about the break in that happened at the towing place, they told me to reach out to the shop as they said it would not be covered. So I reached out to the shop, who told me that the location I was referencing has been closed for a month. So essentially, Traders recommended a place to get my car towed that has been closed. I spoke to my agent about this, who said that ******'s uses a third party for their Roadside Assistance despite it being labeled as Trader's Roadside Assistance and that I need to contact the third party about this. When I told them that this was their roadside assistance and that it should be covered (and why would I reach out to them about this?), he doubled down and said that it wouldn't be covered because it wasn't their fault and that I would be liable even though it was the shop that they recommended to me to get my car towed to. This is, hands down, the worst experience I've ever had on top of the stress that it's already being enabled because of my car being gone because of the initial break in. ******'s uses a third party for their roadside assistance, so don't be fooled like I was.

Spoke with a lazy slow Agent ******.... I called this morning to change some information on my policy and to add a family member as well. I was greeted by a dry agent. Once the call took about 10 minutes and the same information was ask, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I told the supervisor I wanted to add my family member so that she can give them the correct information, for I was at work and the call was up to 15 minutes. I was told I would be transferred to a supervisor, was put on hold, the same agent picked the phone back up and continued as if I didn't ask to speak with a supervisor before. The agent was very nonchalant to my request. I do not think I will continue business with Traders. That agent did it for me. I ask for a corporate number as well and was not provided any information. Very bad business!!!!

June 20, 2023 RE:Inquirer:*********************** / BBB Review Policy Number:TM15230761 NAIC Number:42749 Dear ****************:Thank you for taking a moment to share your perspective and bringing your concern to our attention. Traders Insurance always tries to provide excellent customer service and sometimes that means we need to be thorough and detailed, especially because were managing insurance policies, so we apologize if we did not meet your expectations. After listening to the phone call received on 06/05/2023 at 8:56 AM, there were several requests within the phone call: to replace a car with another car with the same policy coverages including comprehensive and collision coverage, several questions about billing and a breakdown of the billing for your family members portion, to add your family member as someone we are authorized to speak with. In between all of that, a request to speak with a supervisor while our agent was in the middle of processing your requests. The requests may seem simple to someone who is not on our end looking at what an agent is doing, but there were several things to confirm with you, perform in our system, and document. Our licensed agent was calm and informative; the agent asked if you would allow her time to process your requests and did not receive a response. Instead, you asked for her name and role to make a note with Corporate, however, there was no request for corporates phone number. The agent continued processing the requests and when she returned to the line, there were follow up questions to get a lienholder added to your family members vehicle. You questioned why she did not transfer the call to a supervisor, and she reminded you that she asked for time to complete the requests first. Then you stated that you were at work, this phone call was taking too long, and the agent was repeating questions. Our agent attempted to explain she wasnt repeatingonly clarifying information. Then the conversation took a turn with the offensive name-calling directed at our agent who disconnected the call after the third inappropriate and offensive name-calling made towards her.In looking at the bigger picture, you were wanting to make a change to your policy that you expected to be quick, and we did not meet that expectation because we were being thorough and detailed. We could have asked you to call us back to make the changes to your policy when you were not busy at work. We hope we can align on servicing expectations in the future. Thank you for being a valued customer.

I had this company for years and every year my insurance would keep going up. I never had a claim or a late payment. I cancelled my policy 10 days into the month. I got a refund check for $13! They essentially kept a whole entire payment of insurance for only 10 days. I'm so furious. And when I called to see why they keep so much they only refund you 10% of your payment.

Ms. ******************** Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We understand your frustration with the refund amount that was provided, and we want to assure you that we take your concern very seriously. According to our records, on 02/01/2023, you renewed your policy for a new 6-month term then requested to cancel it on 02/10/2023. Although the policy contract states that if we cancel your policy at your request, we will apply a credit in an amount equal to ninety percent (90%) of the daily pro rata unearned portion of the policy premium, we certainly understand your concerns for the refund amount. As a valued customer who has been with us for a long time, we appreciate your loyalty, so we changed your credit to be an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the daily pro rata unearned portion of the policy premium. On 02/28/2023, we issued another refund check in the amount of $58.00. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to make it right with you. Please reach out to us directly if you have any additional concerns.

This company is a joke. Their client hit our car and it has not been repaired after six months. The lie and deny the proof in front of them. Even *********************************, who is the upper management , made promises that were ignored. This place should be sued and investigated by the federal government. Not answering your phone for months does not reduce your liability. Shut this place down.

If I can I will give 0 star. This Insurance company is built to discourage people . I got hit by one of their insured vehicles. From Nov 23, 2021 toJan 24, 2022, the adjuster didnt do nothing. Every time I called him, he said I am investigation. He said: the insurer is not answering, so I have to close the claim. He can say is, why don't you file it on your insurance. Why would we do that? I'm not paying a deductible because they can't do things in a timely manner. Highly unrecommended!

I reached back out to Traders and spoke with a rep and I should here from the supervisor that ****** said I could not speak with.Traders, *************************** needs a class on customer skills.
