I would actually give them a zero if I could. We have a 2019 View. The floor is literally sinking in three horizontal areas. I called and e-mailed Winnebago. They say that the structural warranty ran out after 3 years and they will not reimburse us for the expense of having this fixed. My issue is that this is not a warranty problem. Several, and I mean several, other owners of Views have the identical problem. Many of them have paid for the issue to be addressed. But, if so many have experienced a soft floor, this is a design flaw and should be taken care of by Winnebago. So basically, Winnebago has a design that will end up costing an owner $2300 in addition to the original cost of the vehicle with no apology !

      RE: Winnebago 2021 Travato 59gl Vin: *****************
I bought a Winnebago 2021 Travato 59gl on the 4/20/21 from Sunshine State RV, 3202 N. Main St Gainesville, FL 32609 and it was delivered to me in Los Angeles two weeks later.
Below are the many issues that I've experienced since receiving the vehicle:
      1. Broken Driver Seat Armrest: Upon delivery, the driver said that he noticed that the driver seat's armrest was broken, but he already left Florida before noticing the damage.
      2. No Training at Drop-off as Promised: The driver was supposed to explain to me how everything in the vehicle works upon delivery. He said that to start the Pure 3 dc Volta just push the ignition button and everything will work. As he stated, it started, but then I asked him to explain to me about the other controls, and he said that he didn't have time because he had to catch his flight. He told me to look in the operator's manual supplement. I started to look at that holding tank which seemed easy, however the Truma and the power control system were a different story.
      3. Stitching on Passenger Seat Unstitched: Then, I noticed that some of the stitches on the head rest on the passenger seat was unstitched.
      4. Refrigerator Malfunction: I decided to go camping for three days. That morning, we packed everything and filled up the refrigerator and freezer with food and drink and we were excited and ready to go on our first trip. Driving from L.A. to San Diego, I noticed when we stopped that the refrigerator was not very cold, and all the food was now warm. The next morning when we got up, everything in the refrigerator was at room temperature however, the freezer was working. After losing all the food in the refrigerator, we went to buy a small cooler to use for the remainder of my trip. When I got back in L.A., I called Nick, one of the owners from Sunshine State RV and he said that it might be a loose wire because he said they checked the van before leaving his dealership. My thought was if they didn't catch the broken armrest and the head rest, maybe they didn't do a thorough check of other things in the RV like the refrigerator.
I called all Winnebago repair shop around L.A. no one wanted to look at it because we didn't buy from them. I also tried in Vegas and Colorado same thing or a 3-month minimum wait which unacceptable. Then, I decided to call Nova Kool, the refrigerator brand. After explaining the problem, he referred me to place 150 miles from me. I talked to a gentleman, and he said to call back tomorrow that the person scheduling was not there today. I called back but no one answered so I left a message. I proceeded to call back four times, but no one would call back. Not getting anywhere with Nova Kool, I called Giant RV back in Los Angeles and left a message for a person who said she will send it to their service department. There was no return call after three days so I called back to again speak with the same lady who said she sent the request and that she would send another one. I waited three more days and decided to call back again. She remembered me and said," I did my job, and I cannot do more." As you can well imagine I am now very upset to have paid that kind of money and have that RV parked in my driveway unable to be used.
      5. Drove to Florida (2,500 miles) for Repairs: I called Nick again in Florida telling him about the problem. He had the service manager, Billy called me back to say that if I could not have it serviced locally, I could drive it to Florida and they would repair it there. I said I would think about it and get back to them. I then called Winnebago telling them about the problem and couldn't get any help with them, so I felt that I didn't have any other choice than driving a malfunctioning RV from Los Angeles, CA to Gainesville, FL. I called back Billy from Sunshine States RV and made an appointment to bring in the RV for Monday 6/14/2021.
It is completely unacceptable to expect someone to drive 2,500 miles one way for repairs. Unfortunately, It felt as if I had no other choice.
      6. Air Conditioning Malfunctioning: We were not too far from Texas, so I decided to stop at a rest area for the night thinking that with the Volta3 the Texas heat won't be a problem, but at 2:30 am, I woke up with the AC not working and it was 89 degrees in the RV. I checked the Volta, and it was not working. The manual says that the RV can run for 10 hours with the AC on, and it was 100% charge at 11pm when I went to bed. I started the AC in the chassis to cool the van the rest of the night until 7:00 am.
      7. Front Radio and Back Up Camera Not Working: As I was getting ready to leave, the front radio didn't work which means back up camera wasn't working either. Also, the mileage wouldn't stop flashing. When I got close to El Paso, TX, I decided to call back Sunshine States RV and I left a message. I then called dealers around Texas, but I was told that they only take clients who bought from them. I was starting to get worried because I was thinking what else will go wrong. I tried to get an appointment in San Antonio and was told the same thing at this point that they take only customer that bought from them. It was Wednesday so I had no other choice but to continue to Florida for my appointment. I had to change my plans and now camp at RV parks because the Volta did not stay charged and I needed the AC. On Friday morning the radio came back, mileage stopped flashing and Volta stayed charged. I arrived in Gainesville on Saturday ready for my appointment on Monday. I met with Billy from the service department, and he asked me if we made an appointment "I said sure Monday morning" I told him I left you a message and you didn't call me back he said he didn't get the message. They drove me to a hotel with my three dogs. I called back on Monday night, and he says that they didn't find the problem with the refrigerator. On Tuesday morning he called me and said they are sending the driver to pick me up. At the garage I asked him what problem was and he said that it was a loose wire. I also asked about the radio and the pure Volta, and he said they checked everything.
      8. Poor Customer Service: I asked Billy from service if they could empty the gray and black water and he said that it would be a $200 charge. At this point, I could feel the smoke starting to come out my ears. I told him that I bought the RV from your establishment, and it is just not working, and I had to drive 2,500 miles each way for the repairs. He said that they inspected the RV, and everything was working before delivery. I replied about the broken armrest and the unstitched areas on the headrest. At this point, I guess he knew I was getting very upset. Billy left for a while and the repairman said that he would empty the water. Billy came back and said that they would empty the water. I then saw Nick, one of the owners and my salesperson, and introduced myself to him. He said, "I am surprised to see you here," with a big smile. I didn't say a word, as I found it very hard to believe that he didn't know I was coming. I got in the RV and told Billy that the refrigerator is not cold, and he said that will take 45 minutes before it cools down, but the freezer was working ok. After all this, he had the nerve to ask me to give him a positive review.
      9. Refrigerator not Working Again: I decided to drive to Canada, so I stopped at the grocery store to buy food. After four hours of driving, I decided to stop at a rest area and eat. You guessed it; the refrigerator was warm. I told myself, there is no way I am not driving back to Florida. When I arrived in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada, I called RV Canada and the person said they didn't have any available appointments for two weeks and proceeded to ask me I purchased the RV from them, and I explained that I didn't and that I was on vacation and the refrigerator doesn't work. She said it could take from two to a month before they could look at the refrigerator. I just couldn't believe it. I called around to as many dealerships as I could, and it and it was the same thing. I found a place in Thousand Island, Ontario, 169 kilometers from Gatineau, Quebec. and made and appointment for two weeks later. This was not acceptable, but felt I had no choice at this point since this was the best I could do to get this fixed as soon as possible. I drove to Thousand Island for the appointment at 1000 Islands RV Centre 409 2, Gananoque, ON K7G 2V4, Canada. In addition to the refrigerator issues, the radio and back camera stopped working once again.
      10. Service Appointment in Thousand Island, Ontario: We met with Jason the service person and he explained that their computers were down, and he will have to write everything down manually. I explained everything once again and he said that they cannot fix the radio or the headrest because it is in the chassis and I will need go to a Dodge dealer who will fixed it there. After my appointment, he said he will call us to let us know what he finds. After three days, I decided to call back and left a message. Jason didn't call back, so I called him again and finally got him on the phone. He said that they need to replace a part or the whole refrigerator. He said he would call me back to confirm on Friday. He never called me, so on Saturday I called, and he was not there. I explained to the receptionist that Jason was going to call me on Friday, and he didn't. She asked me to hold and then she came back on the line and said that it was ready to be picked up. Finally, some good news, However, because of the distance, we will not be able to drive there on time before they closed for the day.
On Monday, we drove to Thousand Islands. When we arrived at the RV dealership, the receptionist gave me the key and it is parked in front. I was told that I was not able to be provided with a receipt because their computer was still down. I see Jason in the distance and call him over to ask if I could get an itemized receipt of the work that was done. I could see him rifling through piles of files through a glass window. Unfortunately, they didn't seem to be organized alphabetically or by date, so I knew it was going to take a while. I went to the RV store to get a few things for the RV and after about 20 minutes, I came back to the service desk and the receptionist said that the computer was back up. Jason continued looking for the paper file. I asked what happens if he cannot locate it since the only record is the paper record of what he wrote down. Not wanting to wait any longer, I said it was ok for him to email me the receipt.
      11. Refrigerator Still Not Repaired: Before I left the dealership, I asked Jason what was wrong with the refrigerator, and he said they were still waiting for an approval from Winnebago. I was Irate. They were going to have me leave without telling me that the refrigerator was not fixed. He apologized and said that after they get the approval, I can go to any Winnebago dealer, and they will fix it or replace it at no charge. He also said that it was his opinion that Sunshine State RV in Gainesville, FL didn't check it because they would have easily known the problem. Now, the RV has been in the garage for a week, and it is still not fixed.
      12. Service Appointment in Gatineau, Quebec: I drove back to Gatineau Quebec and made an appointment for two days later at 8:00 am at South Bank, CA in Ottawa for the chassis (radio and headrest repairs). I also asked them to do an oil change and they suggested I should also have the tires rotated. At 4 pm, I called South Bank and the service guy, Dean said it was ready to be picked up. Unfortunately, they couldn't fix the radio because it is a new radio that was installed in the RV, and they didn't have the computer to analyze the problem.
      13. Current Status: Friday I called RV Canada and told them the problem and once again I was asked if it was bought from them and was told I couldn't get an appointment before the beginning of October. That was it, I said to myself I am going back home. It is August 11, 2021, and I am now back in Los Angeles and looking for this issue to be resolved immediately.
