      AES customer service has surpassed what now used to be the worst customer service ever with ******** AES HAVE YOU FORGOT WHO THE CUSTOMER IS? Not worthy of the one star I had to to submit my review.

      I've currently been on the phone almost *************************************************************************************************************** almost 4 months and why I keep paying the bill blindly and feeling that I'm paying an excessive amount compared to the size of my house being a person that is disabled I feel them continuing to up my bill is just a way to put me into a bad situation

      I have automatic payment set up with my bank account. I used it so I did not have to worry about missed deadline. *** did not charge me for 3 months with no notifications or communications. Then I get a bill for all 3 months in 1, when I attempted to contact them their automated phones system went in a circle, when I was finally sent to a representative, they hung up!

      This company has a monopoly on gas in Indiana so I would not expect anything other than inefficiency and poor service. I signed up for the "budget" plan, which just means if you go over your last years useage you will accumulate a huge bill which must be paid off immediately at the year's end. I ended up with a bill over SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. On the "budget" plan. I ask you: is there any world in which it makes sense for something called a "budget plan" to result in a family having to pay $700 immediately or be without heat? This company is fraudulent and anyone who works for them should be ashamed.

      I was without power today for 8 hours in -1 comes back on goes out again at 630. They have the stupid staff I have every seen have no idea when the power will come back on this is unacceptable

      AES customer service is not really helpful in my situation. Call up customer service they answer then put me on hold avg. 40 min before I hang up. This happen about 12 times. Or they say a supervisor will call back and they don't this maybe 3 times never get a call back. Othertimes they they they are switching me to a supervisor and put me on hold and after a couple hour of listening to hold music I hang up, this maybe once. Some times they just sent me to some un related department concerning my problem, after the department telling me they don't handle this I have to hang up. If you Sent info to there website there is no follow up as far as sending a email saying in was received to the customer email. Ect, ect. Just saying something is wrong. Thank you *****

      Theyre the worst! Theyre charging me $20 for a return fee because they took a double payment from my account! I called to request a refund multiple times. The second person that I spoke with said the first one didnt even process my refund request. They were playing with my money. So, now when I contacted my bank for a refund, they want me to give them $20. H*** no! You got the money for the month of electricity bill that you were owed. Besides, their customer service representatives SUCK!!!

      I called their number to connect and to start power service. I waited over one full hour!! No one picked up the phone. I hade to call the power outage department who finally placed a ticket in their system.Today their technician showed up but couldn't connect the power lines because he was not authorized to connect. Instead he placed another order ticket in their system. I have been trying to get the power restored for over 2 months!!!It's cold and without power, the **** unit doesn't work. No sense of emergency!! Poor customer service and support!!! Only heard excuses that they have high call volumes and that their transitioning to a new computer system.Unfortunately, as a consumer I don't have a choice and get service from a different power company. We need more competition!If I could I would give 0 stars.

      If I could I would give 0 stars. The experience was ok at first. I understood how to get my bill through and paying was easy. Then this month of November 2023, they had trouble saying the website was changing and would not work until close to the bill due date. I thought I paid and was waiting for my phone to give me a receipt of the bill, around $26. I checked in a day after the due date to see if it was received and found the bill to be $50 and had to use the ***** EZ-PAY and ended up having to pay over $100 to get the bill figured out. I feel very disappointed and wish I could have a refund for this horrible mix-up. Please fix this.
