Absolutely stay away from this title company. As an Active-Duty Service Member who has sold and purchased many homes during my career, this was by far the worst experience I have had. This is pertaining to the Brownsville, Texas location. They sat on our file and did not start moving on it until the day of closing. As the seller, I did not receive my Closing Disclose until the night before we closed, and they failed to give me an opportunity to have an ample amount of time to review it. Additionally, the day of closing was not as smooth as I have had in the past with other Title Companies. Our escrow agent from Sierra Title told us after we signed our papers, she was heading to lunch and when she got back, she would call me with an update about funding. She said, "As soon as it funds, we'll start working everything for your wire today, Or early Monday." Never did I receive a call or an email. Come to find out the next Monday when I reached out to her, she left on vacation with no update whatsoever. Not even a curtesy call. Monday came around and I spoke to another agent at 0800 in the morning. She again promised by 2:30 or guaranteed Tuesday morning (funds in account). When Tuesday morning came around, we still had no wire and we ended up talking to KNEEL ******* where he went on to show the most disrespect, unprofessional communication ever encountered. He claimed the wire had gone out on Monday but come to find out they only had sent it out an hour prior to talking to him on Tuesday. He said things like "what's the big deal, it's a day late", "we sent the wire we have no control anymore" "we sent it Friday, no wait Monday". When we asked if we could speak to someone higher for the lack of respect he said, "no I am the guy, I am corporate, I am the president". He showed no care, no respect (and he was talking to my wife due to a training obligation I had) and no professionalism.STAY AWAY FROM THIS TITLE COMPANY.

I do apologize that you felt as though you both were treated wrongly, however I did not speak to Mr. Troy ***** on the phone. His wife called our office and was raising her voice and cursing at one of my employees who was trying to assist her so they placed her on hold and passed the call on to me. I do care for our customers and do hold high standards as far as our customer service is concerned. The wire was initiated on Monday at 4pm after we filed documents, (please note) our wire cut off time is at 2:30 P.M. Please understand that if a wire is sent out after 2:30 P.M., it will not be sent from our bank until the following business day, so her wire was sent out first thing Tuesday morning from our bank. She called our office early Tuesday morning complaining that she had not yet received her funds. I did explain the wire procedures to her but she would not listen nor accept the explanation on how our wires work. I did let her know that she would receive her wire before noon and if she had not to please call me back, at that point she hung up on him. I did receive confirmation within an hour after my conversation with her that the wire was complete and we assumed since we did not hear back from her that she had received her funds.

Not only is the companies reply inaccurate but goes to show your lack of integrity toward the situation. My wife did not curse, and you failed to mention how you initiated the conversation with disrespect. Nor did you address the fact that your agent left on vacation with no update. You had no clue of the situation then nor do you now. By telling her “what’s the big deal you will get your money” “okay so what? It’s a day late”. I guess that is care for customers?
