I ordered a $100 gift card from Pappas and the confirmation I received stated that the gift card would be delivered by 12/27/23. About 4 or 5 days later, I emailed them asking why it has not been delivered yet. They were so rude and emailed me back stating that I clearly didn't read their website, and when I shared with them what their confirmation said, they completely ignored me. So incredibly rude and I will NEVER eat or spend money with this company ever again.Review from Tasha C

the marietta Ga location is the absolute worst!! staff is horrible. super unprofessional and the food is cold. If ask them anything concerning wait time, they will allow others to be seated before you and make you wait longer. then after questioning them about it, they’ll try to have security make you leave.Review from Lash W

Bad food and service. At pappadeaux in Houston either store# 037 or 09. Gumbo had shrimp that was not clean brought out additional crab meat to add after itook the shrimp out But it was cold and uncooked so I ash them to remake and they never added extra crab meat .so I paid full price for an incomplete gumbo.Review from Samuel C

I really wanted to like this place. I was looking forward to some good homecooked BBQ but this was a total mess. I am so upset. I dont know how many locations they have, but I went to the one in texas. I wish they would have someone check the food before coming to the table - cold, and unappetizing. This review is in regards to the location off of 610 in Houston manager Tayon… my first complaint was that I waited on the phone for 45 min to order to go while I was still waiting on the phone I drove to the location where the host completely ignored my presence and ask the person behind me if they need assistance as I’m still waiting on the line for someone to take my order to go the person hangs up on me after waiting 45 min ask to speak with supervisor and talk to Tayon is the name he gave me as I’m proceeding to tell him my issue he is rolling his eyes and took my order offered a dessert in which he charged me for and forgot my drink the host was an older gentle man who needs to be fired very rude and does not need to work in the restaurant business neither does the manager Tayon he is absolutely rude and condescending and on top of all this my shrimp ettoufee was horrible nothing like I’ve had in the past this was a horrible experience and makes me not ever want to eat a Pappadeauxs again hate to say it but this wasn’t the first time I just couldn’t let it slide this timeReview from Lori D

A horrific experience tonight at Papadeaux in Grapevine, Tx. I was treating an elderly on assisted living to a Christmas dinner, and while in the middle of our delicious dinner; please allow me to set the ambiance, slow night at Pappadeaux, we were the only table in Jacob's section. Upon enjoying our dinner, total tab of $152.89 for a party of 2, the hostess approaches Jacob and wishes him well as a large table is arriving in his section AND " if it helps, they appear RICH!" YES!!! Verbatim. She said in a normal out loud voice not 36 inches from our table, NO whisper whatsoever! I am embarrassed this is where I chose to bring him for dinner. I do fully commend Jacob the server, he discarded the comment and changed the topic. Damage done, and for the record, I spend only, minimally about $2000 a year at Pappadeaux. Yet, no longer will I spend a penny at a Pappadeaux. At $33 to $40 average per meal, I guess I am to poor to oblige such an establishment. Training of excellence in such a restaurant is all I request, and Pappadeux has failed me. I did approach the manager, and with no apology, she just exclaimed that she would discuss with the employee. I was speechless. I was fully transparent with Jacob that I reported it, and that he was at no fault.Review from Elaine J

I have always loved your Barbeque, but I'm very upset that instead of putting my sides in containers you put everything in the same container. I was very upset that cole slaw wasted over everything. Your trying to save money and mistreating your customers. Don't forget that you could also lose your customers. It is your customer's that support you the reason why your business has grown. Please go back to the separate containers. You have already increased the price of everything. I want do your take out anymore.Review from Superwoman That's T

I would like to report my experience from dining in my daughter's birthday at Papadeuax's Restaurant on Windy Hill Rd, Atlanta GA. Three members of my family have been I'll and shown signs of food poisoning, myself being the worst. Today is the second day that I have been unable to eat because I cannot digest any food, but water. The food that we all ate in common was the gumbo and crab spinach dip. I am pretty certain that it was the crab dip because as soon as I ate the leftovers I became I'll within a few minutes.Review from rob f

I LOVE THE CINCINNATI LOCATION! It is not cheap, but always good quality and nice portions. Recently, I took a client there to celebrate his retirement. I called ahead to make a reservation and was told they would comp a dessert for the occasion. GREAT! When the bill came, the dessert charge was on it. When I brought it to the manager's attention, she said, "Sorry. We gave you the wrong info. We only comp desserts for birthdays and anniversaries." WRONG ANSWER! Customers should NOT have to pay for employee mistakes. She should have comped the dessert and schooled her people about the policy in the future. I have had two opportunities to return since and have chosen other restaurants instead. This manager is NOT good for Pappas business. TOO BAD!Review from Pamela K.

Traveling through Hobby Airport I stopped at the to go to get a beer. I ordered a 20oz beer and received what I know is a 16 oz type solo cup. I told the waitress this is 16 oz. she asked the manager what size the cup is. He came over and yelled it’s 20 oz look at the bottom. There was nothing on the bottom. I kept the cup and used a 16 oz measure and sure enough it’s 16 oz. So they are selling a 16 oz beer as 20 oz for $9.95. Also the rude manager doesn’t care he knows I’ll never be back.
