I have used Thunderbolt for over 40 years I have purchased many engines over the years. Some I installed others I let them do it. Either way I always got a great product. They always took care of me I will be a customer for life.

This company is atrocious.. they give me a quote for motor rebuild then pull my motor and try and charge basically twice the quote... put a 1000 dollars down, I decided it not worth it and they say ok give me my truck back with motor just thrown in the back of the cab.. 1000 dollars for labor on a removal.. Give me a break.. At least put it back in place

Employees are unprofessional and and lie about the work. They said 3 to 4 week turn around and my truck had been there almost 2 months. Transmission under 3 year warranty and was told that all the work that was done was covered by them. Now thunderbolt said computer is only covered for a year. Truck has been on the road for a little over a year and broke down on the freeway. First thunderbolt said it was torque converter and now it’s the computer inside the transmission and they want to charge another 1000 for the work that is supposedly covered by them. When I signed the warranty paper and made the full payment I was told by thunderbolt that everything on the trans is covered. Feel like I’m getting robbed and lied too so they could just have a sale. I had too keep calling and showing my face at the shop so they can remember that my truck was still there. Every time I showed up the reps looked confused when I asked for the status in my truck and the rep Chris who I was always dealing with forgot about my truck and would call the trans tech in front of me and asked when could check my truck because I was there asking about it and they still couldn’t give me an answer. It was always next week is what I would get from them.
