Long story short….my fiancé treated me to making my business official September 2021(Pennsylvania)….(Intuitively Bri LLC) everything was ok until June 2022, I received a email from Swyft about the registered agent. They had been trying to charge his card but the payment wasn’t going through. I called and asked what I needed to do to change it to my card. I was told oh it’s fine there’s no need for a registered agent…..so fast forward to 2024 and to my surprise I called because I can’t access my documents and boom 1,341 at first. I go to check it again boom 1,490. I called I haven’t seen a invoice or got a call since 2022… I find it odd I finally break down to get a business credit card and now here come swyft with these charges that were never discussed out sign of the initial registered agent fee. So now they want the money and at this point I’m just going to go to the City of Philadelphia for my paperwork… I’m really trying to figure out how are you holding my paperwork and holding customers responsible for something that was never explained to them. I feel scammed. I recommend anyone trying to get a LLC, go old school and do it yourself. I have another business and I don’t have a registered agent and it’s fine without one. When my fiancé signed into his account for his business, they tried to take 1,941 out of his account and he hasn’t heard from them since 2017..literally a joke… Do better and train your agents better! To clarify the original concern, all services and subscriptions added to your order are chosen and approved before purchase of the order itself. If you wish to opt out or decline a service, the option is presented before confirming the purchase and can also be cancelled before we file your business with the state.
A registered agent is required in all states in order to file your business and stay compliant with the state. While the business owner is welcome to represent themselves or appoint a third party, during checkout, it was selected by choice that our third party service would provide the registered agent service. Unless the Registered Agent is changed with the state or the business is dissolved, the subscription will remain active and charge at its determined dates. If the payment is not successfully taken, it will post as past due. In this case, the sum added up to a past due amount of $1,490. Our agents were correct in relaying this information to you via phone and have been trained properly in that matter.Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!

They keep billing me for a registered agent. In March I let them know that I filed to have myself as a registered agent. They never reached out in order to “finalize” the cancellation. I even let my cc company know of this in order to block their charges. It is now June and they started charging me again using different amounts. Very unprofessionalSwyft Filings, LLC Response

Horrible. Not only did they sign me up for things that I didn't want or ask for and that I then had to jump through hoops to cancel, but once they had my submission, a few days later I got an urgent email that my submission was rejected by the State and that the State needed more information. I jumped at the need to correct whatever was wrong. But as it turns out this was a compete lie! There was nothing wrong, and they used the word "rejected" when nothing could be further from the truth. They were trying to fool me into thinking that something was wrong, but all they wanted was more money from me to expedite my submission, because the State has a processing backlog. This general rejection is used to quickly notify our customer base if there is a "rejection" response needed to move forward with the application or the state has rejected the application. We offer the expedition as an option as we know it is not for everyone and respect your answer to not expedite your filing. With this being said, the state of MD is backed up and if not expedited, the application timeframe for approval once submitted to the state is drastically longer. Once again, the offer to expedite is not a pressure tactic but rather an effort of transparency to give our business owners the option to get their businesses approved faster if they so desire. Swyft Filings does not keep the expedited fees as they go straight to MD SOS for filing. Continuing: 5/22 On this **** **** there is a line that states: D Check the applicable box(es) if the corporation (entity), after applying for the EIN shown in A above, changed its name or address It is NOT checked. Did you not apply for a name change? Therefore, shouldn't the appropriate box be checked? May28 Hi Kristine, so after talking personally with you for 40 minutes on the 22nd, another 3 documents where uploaded to my account on the 23rd and they all have the name incorrect! At this point I want a full refund, cancel my account and I will do this myself. I mean come on, I still can't believe that you updated that last document and sent it to me with out the "name change" box marked. Do you people even read anything? 5/29 So you're telling me that you would have me file a **** **** with the *** with incorrect name on file on it only to have me have to refile later with the correct name? If the "Label" is wrong than don't upload it to my documents please. Wait until it is labeled correctly! Meanwhile I sit here unable to do anything with potential vendors because they all need a bank account and I am unable to get a bank account because I still don't have my articles of incorporation. 6/12 It's been 12 days. Any notice from the state concerning my Articles of Incorporation amendment? 3 HOURS LATER..Hi Kristine, I would like to know why the state filed this on June 3rd and I was never notified of anything until I sent out 5 emails this morning requesting an update on the status? Does it not state in this email from you that " we will notify you immediately via email once we receive any update regarding the amendment"? If I was able to charge Swyft for the time I have spent on doing "your" job, Swyft would owe me money. I'm not exaggerating. It has been non stop mistakes. I haven’t used their services in years and they are still trying to pull hundreds of dollars from my card. I get a new card with a new cc number and somehow they find that number and try to pull money from it. I let me business go years ago and they haven’t provided services since yet they still try and charge me for services not received. Fraudulent company. BewareSwyft Filings, LLC Response

I can attest to horrible customer service! Avoid this company at all costs! Took me 6 weeks to get my company formed because Sonia over there doesn't know how to proof read and submitted our Corp name incorrectly! What a process to make it right. The state of CA signed off on the update on June 3rd and I was never notified. Not until I sent out 5 emails today asking for an update. Then within a few hours it was miraculously uploaded to my account. I doubt it would have ever been updated had I not inquired. This sort of thing has happened several times. I paid for S Corp on May1st. I paid for the expedited 3-5 day service! Now 43 days later it's complete. UUGH What a nightmare. Negative 5 stars is there was the option.Swyft Filings, LLC Response

We would like to sincerely apologize for the error when filing your business with the state. It looks like there is a special character in the business name that was originally submitted where our document specialist submitted but the state overrode as an unrecognized character. Because of this, it was filed and approved without the special character. This filing was approved within a week, but needed correction like you mention above! To correct this, we filed an amendment on your behalf free of charge as this error was not on you or your business! The timeframe on the amendment is a bit longer, but we did successfully correct the business name within the month. I was charged $149.00 today (May 14) for a "compliance package" that I did not order. Also, found two other subscription charges (that I did not order) that were scheduled for May 30, 2024 under billing on my account. I was able to catch those in time to cancel but was already charged the $149. When I called the company, they pretended it was an error and they didn't know how it happened. However, when I went back through my emails I saw where they sent me an email trying to upcharge me on services and listed where I could "activate" these "free trials" (that I did not order). I didn't respond and then I was charged anyway. This is sneaky and unethical business practices and I want people to beware of this company.Swyft Filings, LLC Response

I filed my business through them. And they charge you like crazy! For instance, they charge you to become their Registered Agent for $120... BUT THE FINE PRINT IS THAT THIS IS EVERY 3 MONTHS! You can have some other company do this for you for the same price per year! Also this company is shady. I signed up for the Pro that supposed to be has square space website for 1 year. Guess what, they don't give it to you until you ask for it. They send you gazillion emails but never did it say about the square space. You have to constantly call and remind them to send you this package! Also, they have a lot of FINE PRINT AND ADD ONS that are not really important. They use word jargons to confuse you! I spent over a thousand to file in this company. My experience is that THEY PREY ON NAIVE CUSTOMERS who just wants to launch their company. IN my opinion they are no different from scammers who calls your phone constantly. Same concept, confuse and make customer believe. I regret using this company!!!
