    Hello, this is Tarik *****. I am messaging in regards to my car getting towed to V&V Paint and Body Shop after my accident on September 30, 2022. It took almost a full month (October 26) for the the shop and the insurance to get into an agreement on the estimate. I decided to decline the repair, and the asked the shop to release my car. They sent me an outrageous bill of $2,544 plus an additional 3% per credit card payment, since they do not accept checks, PayPal or Zelle, to have my car released. One of the items on the bill was for 27 days of parking fee with a rate of $40/day. The parking amount was a total of $1080 plus tax, making it $1169. The other additional charge was a $500 admin fee, with a tax making it $541. I ended up paying $2631 in total to release my car. This charge was mainly for parking and an admin fee and a $200 of towing. This is outrageous. I asked them to remove admin fee and charge me a reasonable parking fee, buy they did not accept. Therefore I am asking your help to get a refund. I have never had to pay more then $25/day parking fee anywhere in Houston. I left my car many times in Downtown Houston or at the airport the parking enter, and the fee per day is not more than $25. In the shop area, the parking fee is less than $10/day. They are essentially penalizing me for not accepting the option to repair the car. They would have not charge me with any bill if I decided to repair my car at their shop. They never informed me of their charges and I did not sign any agreement with them with those charges when they towed the car to the shop. Unfortunately, they are ripping off their customers with unacceptable and unreasonable charges. I urge your help to get a refund. I will approve a reasonable fee ($10/day) and the towing fee. However, I do not accept the admin fee. I would like to receive a partial refund of $1,500. If they do not accept my offer, I will sue them at court.
