After move from SC to **, dryer taking twice as long to dry. Al was referred to me, arrived promptly to say I was out of compliance and should replace flex pipe w/non-flex metal, which he did for $492.20 (written on bill as upgrade). Told me dryer time now should take ***** min., gave number of hints about care of dryer. I washed clothes today; light load took 40 min. to dry (used to take 20), medium load took 70 (used to dry in 40). Total ripoff, dryer not fixed!!Called him today about problem still not fixed and he said maybe the washer wasnt spinning enough water out of clothes. Will not pay him for another house call.Not appreciative that he took advantage of a 79 year old senior.

The customer received the recommended new dryer vent system, and we completed the service. However, the current issue isn't related to the venting; rather, the washer isn't properly wringing the clothes, leading to extended drying times. There's a potential for damage with the movers of her washer, and it's important to note that we specialize in dryer venting not washers. Despite my explanation, she was unwilling to consider it or listen to any more advice. It's worth noting that VenTech maintains consistent pricing, with only tax variations based on the city. I would recommend that she reaches out to the technician who referred her to VenTech and asks them for an appliance technician to check out her washing machine or contacts the company she purchased it from if it's under warranty. We cannot rave enough about Al. We have him service our dryer every 2 years as recommended and we have been cleaning it as he taught us and our dryer has been working great no issues and dries super quick. Very happy.Review from Amy K

We are so grateful for Al and all the information he provided us with. He upgraded our dryer vent as we requested and we couldn’t ask for a better job. We don’t usually go off reviews because we understand everyone has their own experience and some people like to fuss for anything as we’ve retired from our businesses, but we are so pleased we would definitely recommend Al anytime. Al had done a wonderful job this past weekend on our dryer vent. It was a very complicated task for other technicians so we are very glad we found Al to complete the job. It is now up to code. My husband and I would highly recommend him anytime.Review from Ann M

I was very pleased with the work that Al did in the installation of my dryer vent this past weekend. He installed a new dryer vent system for my gas dryer. I now feel safer and well educated about my appliance. I will be calling Ventech in the future for my dryer vent cleaning.Review from Minta P

I had Al with VT VenTech recommended by D&L Appliance (through my excellent JW Heating and Air and they were correct! Al was quick to respond and visit due to my dryer not performing well and knowing I had lapsed in cleaning my dryer vent. My setup is complicated. Despite a busy list of work orders, Al came within 24 hours and expertly cleaned my vent which required extra "hardship" duty going into the attic, and also removed an exterior screen that was blocking the flow. He is dedicated, very educational, very experienced, and a fair price for the work. I feel that my dryer is working well and a fire hazard eliminated. Al with his VT VenTech gets my highest recommendation. I pray he will not retire soon and if so, he finds a comparable replacement! Thanks, Al. You are the BEST!Review from Leslie M

I’m very grateful that Al came to fix our dryer vent. It has been running this past week better than ever, the dry loads are much quicker. He also taught me how to clean the lint out and prolong the dryer lifespan.
