              My Airstream trailer was damaged in August when the left rear tire tread separated. The tread whipped around and hit the black tank dump linkage, the banana wrap between the wheel well and the rear of the utility compartment, and the utility compartment door. The black tank dump handle and linkage support bracket were ripped off, the gray tank dump handle lock was damaged, and the crushed water compartment door broke the city water inlet. A few days later I contacted Out of Doors Mart (ODM) in Colfax, NC, who had done an excellent job of a panel replacement for me several years ago. I sent them a list of the damage and photographs and made an appointment to bring the trailer in for repair on October 18th. When I arrived, I was told that due to supply chain and labor issues it would take 2-3 weeks to repair the trailer. I contacted them after two weeks, three weeks, and then periodically, typically leaving messages which were mostly not returned. In mid-November I was told all but one of the repairs were completed and they were waiting on a part. In December I discovered that the part they were waiting on was the Utility Compartment Door which they didn’t order until November 29 when they knew they needed as early as August. On December 21 I contacted them and was told that the door was still not available and decided to pick up the trailer without that repair being made. Previously I had asked to confirm that the other repairs were completed, e.g., the bent banana wrap and Utility Compartment Door latch and the Black Tank Dump linkage repaired. I asked again and was assured that those repairs were complete. I decided to pick the trailer up on December 23 and return home to Florida. My assessment is: 2. They failed to accomplish a proper repair of the black tank dump linkage. 3. The fact that they needed to reset a circuit breaker suggests that they bent the jack post while moving the trailer without using the ProPride lot bar.

              This review shares the same feelings that a lot of the other reviews about Out-Of-Doors RV has, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AFTER THE SALE. I went 200 miles to pick up a camper that I was told was perfect, I got it and drove home, The first thing I found was that the tail light cover fell off, I called the salesman Jason and he told me he would send a new one right out, it never came. Next I noticed that there were areas of delamination on the camper this showed up do to it was much warmer the next day and the vinyl expands when the temp goes up. I called a camper repair man who has been in the business for over 40 years and he said it was a major repair to fix it and where it is in the back corner if not repaired the back corner will separate. I made 3 calls to the salesman and the dealership to see what could be done about it, they said they would talk to the head of the dealership and get back to me, they never did. I then called to talk to the head of the dealership, He told me all he would do is take it back, another day of my time, gas and 375 more miles put on my truck. The worst part of it was he took no responsibility for what happened, He also told me that I was rude to his people, That never happened. Every review on here by people who had a problem states the same thing, the dealership employees were rude and they did not take care of the problem. The value of the camper dropped by $2,000 or $3000 due to the problem, You would think they would do something more than have someone drive almost 400 miles to return a camper that they will tell the next person it is in perfect shape and do them wrong also. Joel the so called head of the dealership told me he did not care what happened and did not care if I left a review, Do your research on this place, look at all the reviews that people had problems, they all were handled the same way, they do not care, no call backs or their problems taken care of. This company was started by a man who took pride in it, he is now 80 something years old and has been out the last year or so, the new people in charge do not have his same values, it is sad but true. BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP!! THE CAMPER IS NOT SOLD, LOOK AT THE RUDE WAY HE TALKS ABOUT A CUSTOMER AND LIES ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED. I JUST POSTED THE PICTURE FROM THEIR LISTING AND YOU CAN NOT TELL IT MUST HAVE BEEN A COOL DAY WHEN THEY TOOK THE PICTURE. I GUESS HE DID NOT THINK I HAD THE PICTURE WHEN HE CALLED ME A LIER. IT IS TOO BAD THAT RATHER THAN TRY TO FIX A PROBLEM THE DEALERSHIP CHOOSES TO ATTACK THE CUSTOMER. EVERY BAD REVIEW ON HERE TELLS THE SAME STORY RUDE UNCARING DEALERSHIP, 20% NEGATIVE REVIEWS NOT VERY GOOD.

              A 100% refund was offered and refused. There was no deception that took place. Pictures on our website of the unit showed the exceptional cleanliness of this 2011 Rockwood Minilite, and also showed some delamination on the rear corner of the trailer. Mr. ****** inspected the unit along with Jason the day he took delivery. Mr. ******'s attempt to turn a quick profit didn't work out, as he reported he had resold the camper only a day or two after taking delivery of it. We take pride in doing the right thing and Joel is the son of the 89 year old gentlemen mentioned(who is still the majority owner), and has continued the honest pursuit for the last 20 years, of the same business ethics that Out-of-Doors Mart is well known for. Am truly sorry that Mr. ****** had a bad experience, which is the reason the refund was offered. "Not caring" and admitting wrong doing when there wasn't any, is two different things. I never called Mr. ****** a liar, and wish him luck in future business dealings.

              The delamination did not show up in the pictures and I was never told about it, it was cold the day I picked it up and did not show up until it warmed up the next day. He did call me a liar just like he called other people liars, all you have to do is look at their reviews and see how he talks about people who have problems with his dealership. Also the tail light lens they told me they would send me was never sent, I had to buy one. The owner's son is just a rude person who thinks he can talk to people anyway he wants. Also I still have the camper, It was not sold.
